Valencia.
Formé parte de la entrega de más de 21 000 plántulas de cacao de la variedad CCN51 a 19 pequeños y medianos agricultores que pertenecen a las organizaciones productivas “Venezia”, “La Baltazara de Lulo” y “Brisa de Palo Blanco”. Gracias a Celso Fuertes Sojos y a los concejales Luis Velázquez y Marcia Caicedo; además de Diana Uyaguari, presidenta de la asamblea de participación ciudadana por acompañarnos.
Se trata de 38 alumnos que se formaron en mecánica de motos y electricidad domiciliaria, un curso del programa provincial de Formación Profesional y Fortalecimiento Institucional que lleva adelante la Secretaría de Trabajo.
Formes Limites : Pratiques de la céramique et sculptures contemporaines
« Formes Limites » est une exposition dédiée à la céramique, qui rassemble des œuvres d’art, des travaux de céramistes, des objets de design ou des éléments issus de l’industrie. Elle met en évidence le potentiel sculptural de ces matériaux. Chacune des œuvres présentées témoigne d’une approche spécifi que de la céramique, et de sa mise en forme. Enseignée aux Beaux-Arts de Paris, elle s’inscrit dans notre époque par ses qualités tant techniques qu' esthétiques. L’exposition, qui se tient dans la Chapelle des Petits-Augustins, au centre d’un décor unique de copies sculptées et peintes hérité du XIXe siècle, témoigne d'un regain d’intérêt pour une technique qui valorise les savoir-faire et la fabrication manuelle.

I made these earrings with a really pretty color of chalcedony briolettes, Swarovski crystals and sterling silver. The chalcedony briolettes are a soft purplish-pink color. I've added 3 different colored crystals to each earring to bring out the gorgeous color of the briolettes. I oxidized all the sterling silver on these earrings to contrast with the light colored stones.
The total length of the earrings are 1.50", from the top of my hand formed earwires, to the bottom of the chalcedony briolettes. The briolettes are 10mm at their widest point.

For the last twenty years, Lesley Dill has consistently explored the human form, sensory experience, language, and their interactions. Her work can be both ephemeral and spiritual. She uses bronze, photography, poetry, thread, wire, and paper to sculpt her figures and build her tapestries, giving visual form to poetic texts by Salvador Espriu, Franz Kafka, and Emily Dickinson. Recurring motifs, such as leaves, hands, and text, flow through the pieces, bringing together the artist's explorations of the last decade. This exhibition includes roughly 30 works that highlight Dill's dramatic, sculptural installations. This exhibition is organized by the Hunter Museum of American Art, Chattanooga, Tennessee, in conjunction with George Adams Gallery, NY. Nandini Makrandi, Curator of Contemporary Art at the Hunter Museum, curated this exhibition.

Die Mühli Hunziken ist eine ehemalige Mühle in Rubigen bei Bern in der Schweiz, die
seit 1974 zu einem Konzertlokal umgebaut worden ist.
Aufgebaut und geführt wurde sie bis am 2.3. J.uni 2.0.1.1 durch P.eter B.urkhart oder fast
besser bekannt als " M.üli - P.esche ". Für die G.eschicke der Mühli und die Ansagen
"... no churz zum hütige Abe ... " und "Isch öper mit em Zug cho?" sind neu die Gebrüder
F.ankhauser und S.ohn T.homas B.urkhart zuständig.

Das Ambiente der Mühli ist sehr speziell, im Innern wie auch draussen hat es zahlreiche
Kunst- und Altagsgegenstände ausgestellt. Die U.hr zeigt immer fünf vor zwölf, über der
B.ühne schwebt ein S.chwein mit einer K.rone und ein F.uchs serviert eine G.ans. Von
ganz oben schaut auch E.T. den Konzerten zu und vor der Mühli sitzt J.ohn B.elushi auf
einer S.itzbank.

Die Bühne ist eher klein und man ist so sehr nahe bei den Musikern , man kann die
Konzerte aber auch von den drei oberen Stockwerken mitverfolgen wo man einen sehr
speziellen Blickwinkel auf die M.usiker hat.

La creazione, dal titolo “Il mondo ha tante forme quanti sono gli occhi che lo contemplano”, ispirato ad una frase del poeta tedesco J.P.Richter, assume la forma di una installazione diffusa e partecipata sul territorio della città di Pergine. Vuole proporre una riflessione sulla Comunità e sul Paesaggio perginese attraverso un percorso reale, metaforico e sensoriale costituito da sei diverse installazioni audio e video collocate in punti significativi della vita cittadina e da una postazione collettiva finale. Al Ristorante, in Farmacia, all’Ufficio Anagrafe, in Biblioteca e al Bar il visitatore potrà fornire il proprio punto di vista partecipando attivamente alla costruzione della propria forma del mondo.
Dentro il paesaggio c’è la vita, i suoni, i rumori, le storie, le memorie di una città; negli interstizi dei vicoli, nel rimosso che non vediamo, nell’incrocio di strade, di sguardi, nella prossemica inascoltata si prospettano nuovi punti di vista da esplorare:
tutto ciò accade. Come trovare la fisionomia del paesaggio mondo? Come vederlo? Come assaggiarlo? Come annusarlo? Come udirlo? Come narrarlo?

A representative soil profile of a Sumter soil in Alabama.
Sumter soils formed in silty and clayey residuum weathered from chalk. These well drained, alkaline soils have chalk bedrock that can be dug by light machinery at a depth of 50 to 100 centimeters. (Soil Survey of Hale County, Alabama by Christopher Z. Ford and MacArthur C. Harris, Natural Resources Conservation Service)
The Sumter series consists of moderately deep, moderately well or well drained, slowly permeable soils of the Alabama and Mississippi Blackland Prairie (135A) and to a lesser extent in the Texas Blackland Prairie, Northern Part (86A) and the Cretaceous Coastal Plain (135B). They formed in loamy and clayey residuum and alkaline clays that weathered from chalk. Near the type location, the mean annual temperature is about 67 degrees F., and the mean annual precipitation is about 51 inches. Slope ranges from 1 to 40 percent.
TAXONOMIC CLASS: Fine-silty, carbonatic, thermic Rendollic Eutrudepts
Solum thickness and depth to chalk ranges from 20 to 40 inches. The calcium carbonate equivalent ranges from 40 to 65 percent. Non-carbonatic clay content ranges from 18 to 35 percent. Reaction is neutral to moderately alkaline in the surface layer, and from slightly to moderately alkaline in the rest of the profile.
USE AND VEGETATION: Most of the less sloping areas of Sumter soil
are cleared and used for growing pasture, hay, and small grain. Some areas are in red cedar. Steeper areas are in native woodland, mainly oaks and red cedar.
DISTRIBUTION AND EXTENT: Blackland Prairies of Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Mississippi, and eastern Texas. The series is of large extent.

Das Schloss Morges steht in der Altstadt - Stadt Morges am G.enfersee im Kanton Waadt -
Vaud der Schweiz

Südwestlich der Altstadt steht das mächtige Schloss, das 1286 – 1291 in der Form eines
Carré savoyard erbaut wurde. Der regelmässige viereckige Bau mit drei kleineren runden
Ecktürmen und dem grossen runden Nordturm als Donjon erhielt seine heutige Gestalt im
16. und 17. Jahrhundert. Seit der Revolution ist das Schloss im Besitz des Kantons Waadt
und diente zunächst als Z.eughaus. Seit 1.9.3.2 beherbergt das Schloss das Waadtländer
M.ilitärmuseum.

"Acer palmatum 'Carll's Corner', 2018 photo, cutleaf Japanese Maple, , USDA Hardiness Zone 5, Bright red, then burgandy, Michigan Bloom Month --, In Garden Bed Y1 for 1.9 YEARS (Duva). Planted in 2016.
The short center lobe of this small dense red maple gives the entire plant an interesting texture. Emerging bright red almost pink in spring the new leaves soon become a dark burgundy. The color holds well most of the summer. Fall color is dark red. Slow growing, 'Carll's Corner' eventually forms nice rounded shrub. Planted in 2016. Trimmed in 2017.

Wandering along South Michigan Avenue in Chicago is a feast for the architectural and artistic palette.
About a year ago I took picture of same windows and now they are a history.
Recently I got my first ever digital camera, little cute Ricoh RR120 point-and-shoot, which is made by another company and sold under Ricoh, Revue and Toshiba brands (thus not sought after by true Ricoholics). It's quite old by digital standards, but does what I need from digital P&S, isn't silly thin and LCD isn't too large. I like little additional status LCD and main controls on top. Because of construction changing focal length doesn't extend lens, which only little protrudes from body. Oh, and it has push-on lens cap like real cameras, too :)
