York Pullman Bus Co. Ltd. was formed in October 1926, when two single proprietor businesses, one of which was called Pullman, merged their businesses. The Pullman name was a marketing ploy, implying quality by association with Pullman railway carriages. The connection was reinforced by the choice of a livery similar to that of the railway carriages, and comparatively opulent vehicle interiors. As well as building up York's dominant excursion, tour, and private coach hire business, the firm built up a network of bus services linking York with its immediate rural hinterland. The most lucrative bus routes ran north from York (Exhibition Square), serving villages on and close to the A19 between York and Easingwold. In 1954, three double deckers (Roe bodied AEC Regent IIIs) were bought new to meet demand on this group of routes, one (JDN668 - shown elsewhere on this photostream) being preserved in private ownership after withdrawal. In 1957, ODN348 was bought to augment the double deck fleet. It was an AEC Regent V MD3Rv with Roe H33/28R and it too was preserved after withdrawal in 1977. It is shown here in June 1981, leaving Bridlington after taking part in the annual Hull to Bridlington Vintage Vehicle Run.
during my second shoot with Alexis, I happened to lie on the ground to get a different angle, and realized the puddle in front of her was throwing a reflection! Managed to snap this frame when the wind stopped blowing, giving a perfect mirror effect. I'm very thankful it rained the day before :D

Dungeness is a headland on the coast of Kent, England, formed largely of a shingle beach in the form of a cuspate foreland. It shelters a large area of low-lying land, Romney Marsh. Dungeness spans Dungeness Nuclear Power Station, the hamlet of Dungeness, and an ecological site at the same location. It lies within the civil parish of Lydd.
The name Dungeness derives from Old Norse nes ('headland'), with the first part probably connected with the nearby Denge Marsh.
Dungeness is one of the largest expanses of shingle in Europe. It is of international conservation importance for its geomorphology, plant and invertebrate communities and bird life. This is recognised and protected mostly through its conservation designations as a national nature reserve (NNR), a Special Protection Area (SPA), a Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and part of the Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) of Dungeness, Romney Marsh and Rye Bay.
There is a remarkable variety of wildlife living at Dungeness, with over 600 different types of plants: a third of all those found in Britain. It is one of the best places in Britain to find invertebrates such as moths, bees, beetles, and spiders; many of these are very rare, some found nowhere else in Britain.
The short-haired bumblebee, Bombus subterraneus, was last found in the UK in 1988 but has survived in New Zealand after being shipped there more than 100 years ago. After unsuccessful attempts to reintroduce the New Zealand bees at Dungeness in 2009–2010, the Bumblebee Conservation Trust, Hymettus, Natural England and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds teamed up with the Swedish government in a second attempt and introduced 51 of them in 2012 and 49 in 2013 to the Dungeness Reserve. This will be continued each year to ensure a successful integration.
The flooded gravel pits on Denge Beach, both brackish and fresh water, provide an important refuge for many migratory and coastal bird species. The RSPB has a bird reserve there, and every year thousands of bird watchers visit the peninsula and its bird observatory.
One of the most remarkable features of the site is an area known as "the patch" or, by anglers, as "the boil". The waste hot water from the Dungeness nuclear power stations is pumped into the sea through two outfall pipes, enriching the biological productivity of the sea bed and attracting seabirds from miles around.
Beach fishing is popular at Dungeness, with the area being a nationally recognised cod fishing venue in the winter.
The Dungeness area will potentially be affected by plans to lengthen the runway of Lydd Airport to accommodate larger passenger jets.
It has previously been reported that Dungeness had such low rainfall as to qualify as the only desert in the UK. However, a spokesperson for the Met Office refuted this in 2015.

The fruit cluster of the mulberry tree looks like a reminiscent of the xylospongium, commonly known as toilet brush, invented by the Romans and mentioned first time by Claudius Terentianus in the 2nd century AD.

Commonly known as Shahi Hamam, the Wazir Khan Hamam was built by Sheikh Ilmuddin Ansari in 1634. The Hamam is the only surviving public bath from the Mughal era in Pakistan. The single-storey structure is spread over 1,110 square feet and was built using brick tiles and limestone cement. It contains the worlds largest Mughal fresco painting. The Hamam is located just inside the Delhi Gate. It was named Shahi Hamam because it was constructed by the Governor of Punjab. Otherwise, it was a facility meant for public. The building is a combination of Turkish and Persian style. It reminds one of the traditional Persian hamams which are still vogue in Iran. It is a single storey building with beautiful paintings and has three types of bathing facilities such as cold, hot and steam bath. All these facilities have been divided into separate sections. Massage and other similar facilities were also provided. The original paintings on the walls have lost their form and color at many places due to the negligence of the custodians of the building.
