Cape Elizabeth resident Martha Kelley runs past Portland Head Light on a humid, foggy morning. Kelley, who has participated every TD Beach to Beacon 10k, is training for the 16th race on Saturday, Aug. 3. She hopes to finish the 6.2-mile run in 48 minutes, but said she might lose some time if the weather is particularly humid. About 100 medical volunteers will be at the race to treat runners with heat-related or other illnesses.
