Yes, that *is* a pie plate. And a ramekin. I don't have a lot of dishes, ok?

"Cant you see that its just raining

Aint no need to go outside...

But Baby, You hardly even notice

When I try to show you this

Song is meant to keep ya

From doing what your supposed to

Like waking up too early

Maybe we can sleep in

Ill make you banana pancakes

Pretend like its the weekend now"

At $300/oz. at the grocery store, it's a good thing a little bit goes a long way.

If you like the recipe as much as we do, you can order saffron in bulk ("bulk" meaning by the half-ounce or ounce) at substantially lower prices.

Yeah!!! Last year Aziatische-ingredienten.nl was on number 10, now it's on number 8!

After kneading, the dough needs to rise. Some plastic wrap keeps it from drying out.

Next, the rice goes in, without any additional liquid.

So this bento was yummmmie!

Everyone should try out these recipes!

I made raw tabouleh [ because I'm addicted to it, and I wanted to try it raw]

Recipe:

6cups chopped cauliflower [1head]

3cups peeled, seeded and finely diced cucumbers [about 3 cucumbers]

3 cups chopped parsley [just one bunch]

3 cups seeded, diced tomato [i used 4 roma tomatoes]

1/3 cup thinly sliced scallions [white and 3 inches of green]

1/4 cup lemon juice

3 tablespoons oil

1 1/2 tbsp salt

Directions:

-Place cauli in food processor and process until finely chopped. Transfer to a large mixing bowl and add remaining ingredients, toss well!

[p.s. i did this all by hand, because i didn't trust our food processor, and it took quite awhile to finely dice everything, so if you have some machines please let them do it for you, it will cut the time in half!]

Also this makes enough for a party, or for you to have huge helpings everyday so prepare yourself!

Now onto the wrap.. holy crap!!! sooo yummy. and it's all because of the main ingredient of this nut sour cream that I found from here [http://receptenmonique.blogspot.com/2009/07/salad-wraps-with-nut-and-seed-sour.html ] sooo yummy! The recipe is on the page. and I followed suit and added sprouts / carrot sticks / and avocado to the insides of my wrap. sprinkle some salt on top and yummmmmy!

I even added a dollop of the sour cream on top of the tabouleh for an extra treat!

Liquid is one cup wine and two cups chicken broth.

Won a free coffee tasting at Trabant. I talk about it on my blog ad nauseam

After a few additions of liquid, the color will start to develop. Depending on the saffron, it should be a very deep, golden yellow.
