We are all wanderers on this Earth. Our hearts are full of wonder and our souls are deep with dreams ❤

I love the long legs of these elegant foxes. Their legs are more obvious with their shorter fur in the Summer months. Extremely elegant animals they move with the grace and fluidity of a skilled dancer <3

I want to thank all the very kind and supportive friends I have on this site for all you did to help me through this unfortunate mess. I am over the moon that Flickr has restored my beautiful fox who is so very dear to my heart <3

I even know when this fox was born and who his parents are<3

As always thank-you to all who take the time to comment on my photos it is very appreciated!

Love to you all!!! <3 <3

Redwing Blackbirds and a few Grackles soaring over the trees. A true celebration of the changing seasons.

This was shot in early March on a beautiful cold afternoon on a walk in the woods. I never heard this owl coming or going but heard the slightest whisper of wings for just a second as it flew right in front of me. Such a strange and magical sensation of complete awe. It's not the best quality photo as I was caught completely off guard but I like it because it shows the fluidity of this beautiful creature. What I love is that I had no idea it was there until it flew by but it knew I was there the entire time.

A day in the life of nature.

A mix of two Pano-Sabotaged images and two SOOC sunsets. The main Pano-Sabotaged Image was repeated and mirrored in further additions. The sunsets were laid over top of each other.

Hiding away inside the general image is a reproduction of Manet's famous "Le Petit Dejeuner Sur L'Herbe". What at first looks like a simple moment of a bourjoisie picnic, is actually a radical fracturing of orthodox Renaissance perspective. Funny that it inadvertently ended up in the Pano-Sabotage image that I took of a Louis Vuitton shop window.

A yellow-breasted chat scopes out the scene from a branch in a willow tree on a hazy morning. Chats are more often heard than seen, with a mix of sounds the Cornell Lab of Ornithology describes as “whistles, cackles, chuckles, and gurgles with the fluidity of improvisational jazz.”- These calls are made primarily during the breeding season. When seen chats are often deep in the underbrush or very briefly in the upper branches of trees and shrubs.

Yellow-breasted chats spend the winter in central America, then head north to northern Mexico and the U.S. to breed during the summer, preferring shrubby areas and forest edges. Agricultural abandonment and subsequent re-forestation in the eastern U.S. has led to a decline in chat populations, while populations in the western U.S. have increased.

I may see the mountains quite seldom. Maybe because of this I love them. This is the picture that was taken by the board of the plane above Italian Alps. Evening and the mists (or low clouds) made the scene I was watching for a minute maybe.

Thank you for all the comments and faves, my friends.

In this image, you see the architectural essence of the Mercedes-Benz Museum's central atrium, designed by the Dutch architects UNStudio.

The dynamic, asymmetrical curves and concrete structures are typical of the deconstructivist style, symbolising innovation and fluidity.

The interplay of light and material enhances the museum's futuristic atmosphere, guiding visitors upwards through its spiralling design, reflecting both movement and progress.

Taken with my 7Artisans 9mm lens.

A design that practically begs to be captured in black and white.

I've tried to capture the surf vibe at Key West beach, Mullaloo. Using a longish exposure Í've tried to show the fluidity of the surf whilst maintain the surfers as discernible entities. I'm impressed with how they turned out

As the calendar turned to spring, a serene and mystical scene unfolded in the birch forest by the nenufar pond. The forest, adorned with slender white-barked birch trees, was enveloped in a thick mist that hung in the air, creating an ethereal ambiance. The morning fog was like a soft veil that draped over the forest, blurring the edges of the trees and lending an air of mystery to the surroundings. The sun, still low on the horizon, cast a pale golden light through the mist, casting long shadows among the birch trunks. The forest floor was carpeted with a lush carpet of green moss, dotted with delicate white and yellow spring flowers that had just begun to bloom. The air was crisp and cool, carrying with it the scent of damp earth and new growth, as the forest awakened from its winter slumber. The nenufar pond was a tranquil oasis in the midst of the misty forest. The water's surface was calm and still, reflecting the ghostly silhouettes of the birch trees that lined its banks. The nenufar, with their elegant leaves and delicate white flowers, floated atop the water, their beauty amplified by the misty backdrop. Birds chirped softly in the distance, their songs muted by the fog, adding to the surreal ambiance of the scene. The mist ebbed and flowed with the gentle breeze, creating a sense of movement and fluidity in the air. It was a scene straight out of a fairy tale, where reality and fantasy seemed to blur, and nature's beauty was magnified by the mystical veil of the fog.

Just a fun action shot taken at one of the watering lakes at Kwandwe which feeds off the Great Fish River. Not sure what bird species these were but they were having an almighty fight. A low shutter speed to create a sense of duplicit movement and a little creative expression.

The digital watercolor painting captures the bustling energy of downtown Antwerpen with an incredible sense of detail and vibrancy. The painting showcases a mixture of old and modern buildings, perfectly capturing the city's architectural diversity.

In the foreground of the painting, we see busy business people and tourists moving about their day, their figures outlined in bold brushstrokes that convey their hurried movements. The tramways, complete with their overhead power lines, cut across the scene, adding to the dynamic and kinetic feel of the painting.

The buildings themselves are a joy to behold, each rendered in intricate detail that captures the essence of the city's architecture. The older buildings, with their ornate facades and distinctive features, are rendered with particular care, showing off the beauty of their masonry and brickwork.

The modern buildings are no less impressive, with sleek lines and glass facades that reflect the surrounding cityscape. The interplay between the old and new is striking, with the buildings complementing each other in a harmonious blend of styles.

Throughout the painting, the colors are rich and vibrant, with a range of blues, greens, and oranges that convey the hustle and bustle of the city. The watercolor effect adds a sense of fluidity and motion to the painting, as if the buildings and people are in constant motion.

Overall, the painting is a stunning tribute to downtown Antwerpen, showcasing its architecture, people, and energy with incredible skill and detail.

The Baptistery of Neon is a Roman religious building in Ravenna, northeastern Italy. The most ancient monument remaining in the city, it was partly erected on the site of a Roman bath. It is also called the Orthodox Baptistery to distinguish it from the Arian Baptistery constructed on behest of Ostrogothic King Theodoric some 50 years later.

The octagonal brick structure was erected during the late Western Roman Empire by Bishop Ursus at the end of the 4th or beginning of the 5th century, as part of his great Basilica (destroyed in 1734). The baptistery was finished by Bishop Neon at the end of the 5th century, at which time the mosaic decorations were added.

The original floor is now some 3 meters underground, so the proper structure and extent of the building can no longer be seen. The octagonal design of the building, employed in virtually all Early Christian baptisteries, symbolizes the seven days of the week plus the Day of the Resurrection and Eternal Life.

The ceiling mosaic depicts John the Baptist baptizing Jesus (depicted with beard) standing waist high in the Jordan River. Zeus, as personification of the Jordan, is also present. A procession of the twelve apostles proceeds around the center mosaic in two directions, ending with Saint Peter meeting Saint Paul.

The Baptistry is one of the eight structures in Ravenna registered as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. According to the ICOMOS evaluation of this patrimony, "this is the finest and most complete surviving example of the early Christian baptistery" which "retains the fluidity in representation of the human figure derived from Greco-Roman art".

According to the philosopher Zygmunt Bauman, liquid modernity refers to a fluidity that, far from leading us to a "lighter" living, it sends the weight of concreteness away, but doesn't give the counterpart. Where everything is fluid, transitory and without reference, everything "depends on context" and the solid bases to support us are no longer found. In order not to drown, one must learn to discern. Or we'll follow the fate of Sisyphus until the death of everything that exists.

I don't know if you see it or not, but this barn near Acadia Valley, Alberta, appears to be liquefying.

I had no telephoto or other long lens with me so my trusty Macro lens came to the rescue again. Being in essence 105mm in length I managed this shot. The dark line on the actual ocean is caused by a cloud formation and not put there during processing. I sat on a bank above Booby's Bay and got a series of six all hand held so I was quite pleased to get these shots...

Life is all about sunshine and shadows though and I return today with a shot representative of that and for all the silver surfers out there and their offspring who may become the next generation surfers....
