this is the 'Ihi'ihi o lehowa o na Kaua Church, or keanae congregational Church. it was built in 1860 out of lava rocks and coral mortar, and sits on one of the most amazing pieces of land anywhere.

The drouge is very effective at stabilising yaw and roll movements of the kite but at a price of a reduced angle to the flying line (less lift). This pasted up diagram gives an idea of the effect of the drouge on the ff30s attitude: It not only lowers the angle of the kite to the flying line but also tips up its leading edge. I fly the drouge at 5m behind the kite.
