This is a full color photo of surface scum (probably mostly algal) in a stagnant area of Doyle Arm. The disks are lilly pads. The black and white appearance is caused by shooting at a low angle and letting the sunlight blow out the color. SOOC

Some time ago I got myself a second € 6.90 dollie.
Too bad no shop nor department store in my area stocks them. (At least not that I know of).
They're way cuter than any of the trashy dolls little girls go crazy for these days.
Experimenting with water soluble pencil, pen, pencil, Inktense pencil, and watercolor in my art journal. This one was definitely an effort to follow my instincts and use what materials I was drawn to...I really enjoyed that process, which is how I used to art journal. Beyond just being in a flow, but really trusting my hand and whatever ideas or inspiration came through while making art.
