“Squeezing Through”
This is an unplanned hand held shot taken at Belihuloya. Shots with slow shutter speeds are tricky doing without a tripod but guess this one came out pretty ok. The mid day light was handled using a low f point and low iso values.

A Way of Moving in harmony with gravity, flowing into the floor or into the air we discover unknown potential and hidden talents
So what’s it all about?
Ever Tried to Get up side down but felt not sure what to do or felt uncomfortable or not capable ? well this is the opposite of that.
We get Upside Down, we get strong, we crash,we play, we develop from our mistakes, we roll on the floor, walk on all fours, on our hands and have fun along the way.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxYouth@Hollywood, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxYouth@Hollywood event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
What is TEDxYouth@Hollywood ?
TEDxYouth@Hollywood is a day-long conference for Southern Californian youth aged 14-19. The event features inspiring people with mind, heart and spirit-expanding stories and ideas to share.
The theme of our inaugural event is JUMPING; as in, jumping into something new, exciting, fearful or inspirational. We are interested in igniting the imaginations of youth and the concept of jumping just for the fun of jumping!
Our presenters are a mix of youth, young adults and established professionals in their fields which run the gamut from entertainment to non-profit, education and business. As our theme promises, we will present a few surprises as well.

Due to my own overestimation of the nib size needed for the description of Konrad von Altorff's heraldry, I had to 'erase' the two lines of text I had placed on the pergamenta (vegetable parchment).
Mistakes are very much a part of scroll production, no matter your skill level as a scribe. Simply because ink sticks to the page does not mean it can't be removed in strategic places to reshape letters, or in this case, removed to allow two lines of text to become three lines of text in a smaller pen size. There was no white-out "back in the day" - nor do I advise using white out on a SCAdian scroll _ever_ (you will not get the white to look the same color as the paper, and it will be blatantly clear there's a mistake on the page/white paint tends to jar the 'flow' of the uniformity of the calligraphy).
Methods of erasing or correcting text included use of a pen knife (or Exacto blade in this case) lightly scraped over the part that you wish to remove, to penning a drollery/marginalia (aka doodle) in the border of the page or between lines, holding the correct letter in hand, or even the modern-day editor's carat pointing to the correct letter.
Doing calligraphy means learning to accept that sooner or later, an error will occur, and that with most cases, starting over on a deadline simply may not be possible. For further information on correcting calligraphy errors, please feel free to speak to me, Mistress Kis Maria, or anyone who has worked in error correction on calligraphy and illumination work in the past.

Went on a two hour drive today to Bushkill Falls. Awesome place, but way too many people. Getting a tripod down would have been impossible if I hadn't gone off trail.
