At the Harbour Air terminal in Coal Harbour, with Lonsdale Quay and North Vancouver in the background.
My boss told me not to go to work today since I just got back from a long week in the East coast. Wow, all of a sudden I have a 3 day weekend! So what do you do when you've lost the last 5 weekends of your life and then suddenly, you have a three dayer?
Exactly. You float! (like Leon)
Happy Friday everyone :) Float responsibly!
An old photo I took several years ago of my buddy not quite pulling off a trick. I'm not a fan of the post-processing I did anymore (my skills were limited), but I still like the photo.

Suburban Aero Club of Chicago
Midlothian Reservoir Forest Preserve 4901 167th St, Oak Forest, IL 60452
SAC Celebrates our 60th year as a club in 2022! SAC is also a long time AMA Gold member club and the 1st recipient of the “AMA Club of the Month” award. We also maintain great relationships with Forest Preserves of Cook County and SAC is a “Model Citizen” in the community!
Suburban Aero Club of Chicago (SAC) was founded in 1962 and is one of the oldest model aircraft clubs in the nation.
We are an AMA Gold Leader Club, a distinction achieved by only 5% of AMA chartered clubs.
The first AMA Club of the Month August 2020!
We build and fly model aircraft of all types: member interests include airplanes, seaplanes, gliders, helicopters and drones. We have an instructional program to help new members get started in the hobby, and we run a number of events throughout the year.
Our regular flying site is at 19416 S. Cicero Avenue at the Cook County Forest Preserve model airplane field. We fly float planes at Midlothian Reservoir (167th and Cicero) in Oak Forest.
