919D111 are weight 238 grams so maybe is better locking for: 950D111 ( 4,5-15v ) with re 385 motor. radio 1:11 weight 146 grams or 918D 151/1 1,5-3v ratio 1:15 (4mm shaft) or 918D 15112/1 12-24v ratio 1:15 (4mm shaft) they are only 72 grams

and remember to put the vent hole in the float to let moist get out.
It is also necessary to have locks on the wing floats to prevent the screw jack from breaking if someone pushes onto the boats.
John the Milk and the Whife and Sloper milk float - both driver and vehicle still going strong. The milk float pics are mostly from Barleylands Show with "John the Bus" driving it.

The Westland Whirlwind helicopter was a British licence-built version of the US Sikorsky S-55/H-19 Chickasaw. It primarily served with the Royal Navy's Fleet Air Arm in anti-submarine and search and rescue roles. It was also exported to other countries. The helicopter was made in many variants using a variety of radial (piston) and turbine engines. Note the engine access doors are open - this seems to be a feature of all the Brunei Whirlwind images I hold, suggesting that removal of heat from the engine compartment was a problem...
Whirlwind helicopters fitted with turbine power served right up until the early 1980s, and a converted Whirlwind was in the Queen's Flight, although Queen Elizbeth II never flew in it.
This is a Westland Whirlwind SRS.3, serial no. WA/491, built in 1964. It is seen on an improvised landing pad somewhere in Brunei. It was being operated by the Angkatan Tenara Udara Diraja Brunei (Royal Brunei Air Force), perhaps trialling the fitted floats in field conditions (see earlier and later photos in this album).
This was a PR photo and is scanned from a print retained by the RAF pilot on secondment. I do not have an exact site for this photo, so the map location is entirely arbitrary.
The 1947 electric milk float (until 1960 it was a bread van) was invited to do a few circuits of the arena inbetween military displays. The driver on this occasion was formerly a pilot. Being food related and just post-war, it was exhibited near the Ministry of Food display.
I was looking at some older photos and ran across a photo of a green glass float. I cropped it quite a bit for this image. I took this on on nearby Bailey Island. They often are made of recycled glass and the process is done quickly resulting in bubbles of air trapped in the glass.
Glass floats, glass fishing floats, or Japanese glass fishing floats are popular collectors' items. They were once used by fishermen in many parts of the world to keep their fishing nets, as well as longlines or droplines afloat.
Large groups of fishnets strung together, sometimes 50 miles (80 km) long, were set adrift in the ocean and supported near the surface by hollow glass balls or cylinders containing air to give them buoyancy. These glass floats are no longer being used by fishermen, but many of them are still afloat in the world's oceans, primarily the Pacific. A rebodied Morrisons-Electracar D1 milkfloat that had originally been new to Unigate Dairies, Wolverhampton in 1970. Now in the ownership of Express Dairies, the electric float is seen earning its keep in the Bradmore district of its hometown on 1st September 2008.

Tofino is a small district on Vancouver Island, off Canada's west coast. It sprawls on a peninsula within Clayoquot Sound, characterized by wild natural scenery including lakes, inlets and ancient rainforest.
Sandy beaches with year-round surfing facilities include Cox Bay, Chesterman Beach and popular Long Beach, part of the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. The relaxed town of Tofino sits on the peninsula's tip.
Tofino is a district of about 1,876 residents on the west coast of Vancouver Island, in British Columbia, Canada, located at the western terminus of Highway 4, on the tip of the Esowista Peninsula, at the southern edge of Clayoquot Sound.
A popular tourist destination in the summer, Tofino's population swells to many times its winter size. It attracts surfers, nature lovers, bird watchers, campers, whale watchers, fishermen, or anyone just looking to be close to nature. In the winter it is not as bustling, although many people visit Tofino and the west coast to watch storms on the water.
Close to Tofino is Long Beach, a scenic and popular year-round destination, at the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. Maquinna Marine Provincial Park, with its natural hot springs, is located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) north of Tofino, a popular day-trip destination for tourists only reachable by boat or float plane.

Today is the first of October, the beginning of my month long photo a day (based on Flickr's popular projects 365 and 52 weeks) however my project has a twist most suited to myself - they're all for the beautiful day that is Halloween. This is my autumn of terror (God bless you Londoners circa 1888), you can watch if you want, I need to do this for personal growth. Long live Ireland. Long live my favourite month; October is magic.
Oh and this is my very first levitation attempt!

123 Pictures in 2023 #113 "Waterproof"
This DeHaviland DHC2 "Beaver" is landing in one of the lakes that form "Big Lakes River" that feeds Redoubt Bay off of the Cook Inlet. I chose this for this topic because the floats must be waterproof to support the airplane on top of the water. I caught this as we were given a sightseeing trip around the lake after our bear viewing came to an end (all the bears left).
Southwest Louisiana Convention and Visitors Bureau held their annual Mardi Gras Shoebox Float Contest Saturday. The floats will be on display at Convention and Visitors Welcome Center through February 22.
