ahh, first of all - i'm not leaving flickr and i won't be leaving flickr unless the recent changes completely destroy and drive away the majority of communities and friends/contacts i follow on here (which only time will tell if that happens, but)...

unfortunately i've already seen many of my favorite contacts leave this site (temporarily or permanently...?) to try out alternative websites and some people have also asked me about what sites they can use instead of flickr as well.

i decided to create some new accounts on different image hosting communities & social media to try their services out and figure out which ones i like (and which ones i don't). i also will be updating my mostly unused accounts on sites such as deviantart a little more for now.

this is just a simple guide and link portal to where you can find me on different sites. i haven't had enough time to make permanent decisions about which ones i want to use as mirrors for my flickr in the long term yet.

as i don't have a lot of experience with all of these sites it is an experiment - some of them may be worse than flickr!
