My Flickr stats as of August 21, 2013. My number of "views" has greatly increased over previous times, with days as high as 12,000 views. This compares with about 2,000 views a day before the big change in Flickr.
A peculiar pattern seems to emerge. Each week, view numbers increased greatly at the beginning of the week, declined (but to numbers well above pre-July experience), then zoomed up again the next Monday.
July 29, when many (all?) Flickr members had zero views, is at the left.

I was originally enrolled into the GETTY IMAGES collection as a contributor on April 9th 2012, and when links with FLICKR were terminated in March 2014, I was retained and fortunate enough to be signed up via a second contract, both of which have proved to be successful with sales of my photographs all over the world now handled exclusively by them.
On November 12th 2015 GETTY IMAGES unveiled plans for a new stills upload platform called ESP (Enterprise Submission Platform), to replace the existing 'Moment portal', and on November 13th I was invited to Beta test the new system prior to it being officially rolled out in December. ESP went live on Tuesday December 15th 2015 and has smoothed out the upload process considerably.
These days I take a far more leisurely approach to my photographic exploits, and having moved from professional Nikon equipment to consumer bodies and lenses, I travel light less constraints and more emphasis on the pure capture of the beauty that I see, more akin to my original persuits and goals some five decades previously when starting out. I would like to say a huge and heartfelt 'THANK YOU' to GETTY IMAGES, and the 22.325+ Million visitors to my FLICKR site.

High Rocks is a 3.2 hectare (7.9 acre) geological Site of special scientific interest 3 km (1.9 mi) west of Tunbridge Wells in East Sussex, England. The site was notified in 1986 under the Wildlife and Counntryside Act 1981, and is an important geomorphological site for sandstone weathering features
The location was formed when a melting ice sheet at the end of the last Ice age uncovered hardened silt deposited when the area was part of the Wealden Lake. There are traces of Middle Stone Age and Iron Age residents, including a 1st-century A.D. fort guarding against the Roman invasion of Britain

Mitsubishi H-60 series: The Mitsubishi H-60 series is twin-turboshaft engine helicopter based on the Sikorsky S-70 helicopter family for use by the Japan Self-Defense Forces (JSDF). The SH-60J/K are anti-submarine patrol version for the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF). The UH-60J is a search and rescue version for the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) and JMSDF. The UH-60JA is a utility version for the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF).
UH-60J: In 1988, the Japan Air Self-Defense Force choose the UH-60L Black Hawk to replace its KV-107 and Sikorsky S-62 helicopters. The first aircraft was built by Sikorsky, with the company designation S-70A-12, and two more were assembled by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Mitsubishi is producing the remaining UH-60Js under license.
The UH-60J is powered by T700 engines license-built by Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries in Japan. It features external fuel tanks, an external rescue winch, a Japan-built radar, a FLIR turret in the nose and bubble side windows for observers. The Japan Air Self-Defense Force machines were fitted with T700-IHI-701A engines, while Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force machines were fitted with marinized T700-IHI-401C engines. Fuel tanks can be attached to pylons on stub wings. The UH-60Js began deliveries in 1991 and entered service in 1992. A total of 40 UH-60Js were in service in 2010. The JASDF ordered 40 newer UH-60Js in December 2010 to begin replacing older UH-60Js.

As Karl Addison’s art and vision evolves—from blank slate, to paper, to mural, to installation, to unoccupied public space—our understanding and comprehension of the world around us begins to unfold as well. We may not notice his input, infiltrating our subconscious—our everyday—but it’s there. A beautiful woman’s face composed of negative space watching peacefully over a cemetery in Wedding, a fragile old Jewish woman towering over a decommissioned factory in Berlin, an urban zoo of imagined creatures deposited all over the globe, an abandoned room filled with 4,500 fat babies…Addison’s art and commentary on history and culture are everywhere, becoming part of the collective unconscious.
Through his travels to Italy, Israel, Japan, throughout the US, and his current residence in Berlin, Addison’s overarching theme of people and the spaces they occupy and interact with has taken shape. By focusing on pieces, which work to become part of public space rather than interrupt it, his intent to create regenerative art through murals and other mediums is being actualized. He has achieved this both independently and collaboratively with other contemporary artists and painters, most notably James Boullough. Addison’s recent and current collaborative projects also highlight his more narrowed focus of interconnectedness, “connecting humanity around the world with different cultures from different places,” he wants us to value tiny lines, details, to appreciate a world view and hopefully, start extolling minute details of our own.
It takes an extraordinary person, one with talent, courage, and patience, to express himself the way Addison does. To project his voice and vision for the world to see—to rip it out of a sketch book or a blank page in his mind—and produce it. To take it beyond the two-dimensional and spray paint, wheat paste, bomb, the side of a building with an illimitable piece of art. To exhibit in public space—on walls, on clothing, in art galleries—what a beautiful fucking thing. Art—“a new mode of obtaining power of mind over mind” leaving the watching to the watched.

Pótoprens, Haiti.
Flows of people, pigs, goats, like an exodus of unorganized ants of different colonies who have all lost their queen. Everyone here is a juggler. Juggling with all that is left. Balancing enormous heavy burdens on the heads, screaming "dlo, dlo, dlo!!" "Water, water, water!" Barking, singing in Kreole & cacophonic un-understandable sounds at first. Sweat, dust, lots of dust, heat, smells of damped trash, cleaned clothes hanging on barbwire, on trees or roofs to dry.
Cité Soleil.
Chaos into chaos. Naked children running, beautiful, smiling, suspicious & clever. "Blanc! Hey you! Chocolate?" The first words they address you if you're white. Being white here means not being Haitian. You can be Mauritanian - you will still be white. UN soldiers. Minustah. Logbase. Armed Militaries, armed gangs. The armed gangs enhance their "activity" of extortion especially in September - October. They have to find money to send their kids to school. Most of them with wearing their blue "Unicef" bag -part of the "Go-to-school" kit. But they still need the money for shoes and uniforms. Jealousy. Treachery. Haiti, Republic ONG - the NGO Republic. It's hard being thrown a tiny piece of bread and having to share it among so many people. It drives humanity crazy.
The effort of building some artisan labs in such a place. Project started, project financed, funds now finished. Structure, built. Machines, given. Training, given. Structures, robbed, often. Machines, half are already broken. Artists: amazing. Creative, brave. All they want is to earn their living by working, not being part of the gangs. But living and working in a place ruled by them, you can't pretend they're not there. They'll never let you forget they are. Not easy, not at all. Materials, often unavailable, or very expensive. Everything is imported. The challenge: for these labs to produce enough to sustain themselves. Producing, selling, to the rich “Blancs” who can afford it. We're doing it, every day, with a bit of luck, a lot of effort.
But working here, going every day down from Petionville, the "wealthy" neighborhood, to Cité Soleil, one of the poorest slums of the continent, and dealing with all this... It's sometimes just too much. You can't process everything in one Blanc's heart; sometimes it seems too spongy not to drown. It makes you scream from the inside, a long silent scream, before you can breathe in again and start putting the pieces of this scattered puzzle back together.

EDIT: OK so, I took this like 8 minutes before I had to walk to church with Alex, so I didn't have time for a very big description/edit/tags/pretty much anything. I adjusted the brightness on iPhoto, and that's it! But anyways, Infinite Flickr is a cool game/group thing that I've been trying to find the time to participate in for a while. So after I took this I grabbed a popsicle and so did Alex and off we went onto our trek. I saw these cool flowers on the way, a dog with a cone head thingy, and the light at the cross walk wouldn't permit us to cross the street, even after I repeatedly kicked the button and got weird stares. Then we had to use the cross walks by this school which made us go pretty much in a complete circle. Then we got to church. Oh and I took my letter Z picture. I'll have it up tomorrow :D
