The Flaming Lips closed out day 2 of Rifflandia 2012 at Royal Athletic Park with quite possibly the best concert I've ever seen.

Flaming Cliffs. This area of the Gobi desert is most famous for the first nest of dinosaur eggs and other fossils found here by the American paleontologist Roy Chapman Andrews in the 1920s. He nicknamed this site "Flaming Cliffs" for the surreal glowing orange color of the rock. Called Bayanzag in Mongolian, which means "rich in saxaul shrubs", it is comprised of red sand, rocks, scorching sun, and emptiness.

Yesterday I had the great honour of photographing the very talented dancers of Flaming Feathers - check out their website and upcoming performances.
Just an average evening out with a glass on fire with a flaming heart as a coaster. I'm sure you see this all the time.

I saw this guy standing on the sidewalk looking through his purse and I asked if I could photograph him. He waved his hand and said, "Wait, lemme get ready," and put his purse on and his friend came over. They were so flaming it was cute.
The Flaming Mountains (Chinese: 火焰山; pinyin: huǒyànshān) or Gaochang Mountains are barren, eroded, red sandstone hills in the Tian Shan of Xinjiang. They lie near the northern rim of the Taklamakan Desert and east of the city of Turpan. Their striking gullies and trenches caused by erosion of the red sandstone bedrock give the mountains a flaming appearance at certain times of the day
Aaron came back from holidays yesterday with his mum and dad, they have been to Javea in Spain.....and had a fabulous two weeks of sunshine, unlike us.

When I asked him what these birds were called, he said, 'flaming-ingo's.....this is what I have missed, he makes me laugh......Jack and I really missed him.
