The Flaming Star Nebula (IC 405, top) and the Tadpole Nebula (IC 410; bottom) are two beautiful nebulae that can be seen in winter, above our heads. They are located relatively close, about 1500 light years away, in our neighboring arm of the Milky Way. The star AE Aurigae, in the center, energizes the entire area, producing blue and red colors according to ionization reactions. The Flaming Star nebula expands twice the size of our solar system (i.e 1.5-2 light years in diameter). Below, two large, denser, tadpole-shaped clouds form a star-forming region.

The flame is burning off the alcohol! (wont go to waste was used in cooking!)

This sight was very scary to see....we were glad he didn't park in the driveway or our garage might have caught fire as well....he took good care of his truck and plowed driveways and parking lots in winter....hopefully, Santa will bring him another for or before Christmas....

This is my first shot from the visit to the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm... I was rather disappointed in the farm this year... There was nothing up near where you come in and you had to get use one of their trams to get out to the growing flowers... I noticed also that there wasn't a huge variety in color ... I shouldn't complain, I should be thankful I had a friend to drive me out..
Located at the border of Wyoming and Utah, this reservoir is filled with white sandy beaches, clear blue water, and trails for ATV's.
