I oiled my hair and afterwards my husband braided my hair in a fishtail braid.

So I tried a french fishtail braid even though it hurts my arm so much attempting it.

In 1988 we did a 5 day hike in the Pokhara region of Nepal to Poon Hill via Chandrakot and Ulleri and returned via Ghandruk and back through Chandrakot. The scenery was magnificent.

We started our walk in Pokhara, though I think people now catch transport to the start of the trek. Roads were being built while we were there. The walk to Poon Hill is part of the Annapurna Circuit.

Our route was Pokhara - Hyangia - Suikhet - Phedi - Nagdanda - Lumle - Chandrakot - Birethanti - Ulleri - Nayathanti - Ghorepani - Poon Hill - Tadapani - Ghandruk - Modi Khola (the river valley) - Chandrakot - Phedi. We caught a bus back into Pokhara.

finally caught up. sorry these were all so late. i just finished my sophomore year of high school this past week and i was taking my finals. i can't believe i'm going to be a junior in september.

Me and wife spent the night in Sarangkot hoping to get the best view of himalayas early in the morning. And yes, did get some "ok" shots but this one, taken from the bike while returning to Pokhara turned out to be a favorite.

I french braided my hair at the top and he did the wonderful fishtail braid and it came out great...

And then I got my sweet hubby to braid my hair in a perfect fishtail braid. It's just too bad he can't do a decent french braid on me...

Don't you love it when your furbabies can wear your dolly clothes too!!!

Prefer this one to my first attempt (deleted that photo, didn't like it - sorry to those who faved!) but still have stray loops sticking out. Need more practice.

Now if I can just master the french fishtail braid.:)
