This one week old Black Skimmer chick just did the impossible. It swallowed a Needle Fish almost as long as him. I have the sequence of the entire ordeal, but this is the end.
Mother Nature never stops amazing me.

Peak Machhapuchhare (Fishtail peak) wrapped around by a pall of mystic clouds as taken from its basecamp in course of ABC trek in Nepal Himalayas.
This peak is called "Machapuchare" aka Fishtail and is part of the Annapurna Range of the Himalayas!!
I took hundreds of shots during the days I was at Pokhara. But everyone's eyes are getting tired looking at these peaks 😂!! A couple more uploads (including this one) of the mountains and peaks then I will return to flat lands, where I belong!! 😂😆

Against the green background of a leaf of a Fishtail Palm this All-Black couple of Wasps makes for a pretty photo. I think they're Crabronids but there are so many of them I can't be sure which species. Anyone?
This palm is native to Tropical Asia now sparingly naturalized in southern Florida and in parts of Africa and Latin America. Caryota mitis has clustered stems up to 10 m (33 feet) tall and 15 cm (6 inches) in diameter. Leaves can be up to 3 m (10 feet) long. Each leaf is made of many pairs of leaflets shaped like tail fins that give this palm its name.

Machhapuchhre or Fishtail is the second highest mountain of the Annapurna Range.
It has supposedly never been climbed.
It is considered holy by the people of Nepal as it has been untouched and therefore is pure.
Friends, I'm back to my country (not yet in the city), but couldn't resist myself to be with you !!
