I forgot the name of this fish, but I liked the shot.

Night shots of Needle Felted Angler Fish. He has the working LED light in his "fishing rod". He is felted over a foam base & is about the size of a basketball.

Jason's cichlid aquarium in its early stages. I believe this was taken just after the yellow labs were added to the tank. There is much more algae on the rocks now.

I also think the lamp reflections are a nice touch.

Too wet and grey for me so here's another one of my fishy friends from earlier in the year. Mikrogeophagus altispinosus (Bolivian Ram) can't recall if this was the male or female now, probably the male given the brightness of yellow and looks a bit skinnier than the female normally does. The yellow looks fake, it not. I suspect the flash had something to do with it.

This photo may be a bit at an angle but I wanted to 'catch' as many fish in this shot as I possibly could. Fluffy and wanted to give our aquarium a Greek/Italian feeling.

i went up to one of the fish markets .. and found out that the fishes were fresh.. the fine morning sunlight.. lit the fine texture of the fish's body .. i snapped it with my hand phone... camera.. :D

Namibia.

The Fish River Canyon (Afrikaans: Visrivier Canyon or Visrivier Afgronde, German: Fischfluss Canyon), is located in the south of Namibia. It is the second largest canyon in the world[2] and the largest in Africa, as well as the second most visited tourist attraction in Namibia.[3] It features a gigantic ravine, in total about 100 miles (160 km) long, up to 27 km wide and in places almost 550 metres deep.

The Fish River is the longest interior river in Namibia. It cuts deep into the plateau which is today dry, stony and sparsely covered with hardy drought-resistant plants. The river flows intermittently, usually flooding in late summer; the rest of the year it becomes a chain of long narrow pools. At the lower end of the Fish River Canyon, the hot springs resort of Ai-Ais is situated.
