We have four Danio Zebras in our aquarium. They are difficult to photograph as they are relatively small, do not stand out clearly from the background and move very quickly. The photograph was taken with a +3 Cokin Close Up lens mounted in front of my 28 - 80 mm zoom lens. The room and aquarium lights were on. I used an aperture of f5 and an ISO of 800.
I hear these fish are tarting to attack animals in the water that they didn't previously show an interest in.
I took this pic few months ago while I was on my way to KL. I adjusted the contrast and brightness to bring out the appearance of the fish from the pond.

The complete sequence of flight of a flying fish happens in a very short period of time. To be able to capture one, I set everything to manual, and prefocused to a particular location. I clicked the trigger when I heard a swishing sound in the water. I managed to capture this after several attempts. I then made minor adjustments in contrast and sharpness.

After years of wanting to see and photograph these wonderful creatures, I was finally able to fulfill that wish. Wakatobi is a marine protected area, and there were Anemone Fish on most of the dives. This area still has healthy reef corals and is full of life
