A picture of a clown fish rubbing itself on an anemone I caught whilst visiting the pet shop

A tricky shot, panning at f2, 1/20th sec, 50mm lens. It almost like the fish has forgotten to get dressed that morning

Supposedly, even the Fish have bishops and priests and a pope. The Bishop Fish was proof of this - kind of a mermish thing with a miter (pointy hat) on its head. See, they caught it at sea, and it made the sign of the cross, so they let it go. Ooooooookay.

our beloved "fishy fish" had generously agreed to serve as model in an improvised photoshoot yesterday ...though it was so hard following his neurotic movement, I think he makes quite good of a model - maybe it is a beginning of a new career :)

Known as "Die Fischerin vom Bodensee" in German. (The Fisherwoman of Lake Contance.)

There is safety in numbers for these fish that occupy the same spot in the tank all the time. They prefer to be in the open, but close to one another.

The smaller ones are called 'Admirals' and they hang out mainly in another part of the tank in their own group, but because it's feeding time they have broken formation.

We have four Danio Zebras in our aquarium. They are difficult to photograph as they are relatively small, do not stand out clearly from the background and move very quickly. The photograph was taken with a +3 Cokin Close Up lens mounted in front of my 28 - 80 mm zoom lens. The room and aquarium lights were on. I used an aperture of f5 and an ISO of 800.

Lensbabies are addictive, but sometimes I think it would probably be better to just use an automatic lens...

but then I think, Nahhhh.
