We ran into Dr. Tobin at CJ's baseball game tonight, and she gave him a big bear hug and then one quick yank and out it was.
He is so proud of his new space!

To make up for my birthday skydiving failure (the pilot's, not me)...I went skydiving this past Thursday. My little brother took this. Lol. A Pre-Jump shot.
ZAHS advanced band performs at Grandberry Mall
Zama American High School’s advanced band played for the first time in a local foreign national concert venue May 22 at Grandberry Mall.
Kevin Hanson, Zama American School band teacher, said he has been here nine years and they have been unable to find a venue off-base.
“For this performance opportunity, we had to send a video of the band to be asked/accepted to play,” said Hanson.
The symphonic band of 41 students played a variety of music to include some Disney movie themed music, Batman’s theme song and the Mission Impossible movie theme song.
Hanson said the mall manager was watching the crowd and everyone seemed to enjoy it.
“We were invited to come back anytime,” said Hanson.

C's first solid food experience! he has been SO interested in food the past month or so, we decided to break out the rice cereal to celebrate his 5-month birthday (which was actually Thurs). he wasn't too into it, but he didn't spit it back out.
Pinhole shot and a loose description of self portrait but this is why i do what I do today, read my writing and feel what I felt. P.S. I still write the same, But you already know that if you follow Me...The back of the candy box pin hole shot the 11 year old wrote.... and so it begins!
BAYESIAN
There was no way in hell I was going to win this game. I didn't think I had a shot at all. I knew the word wasn't in the scrabble dictionary, as it had too many letters to be in there. I can't believe I did it. I didn't win... But I came freaking close. I must say, that is the highest point value word I have ever played. And it finished the game. :D

First time having the experience to photograph a wedding, good idea to throw myself into the deep end and plucked the courage to take the Images. Obviously this is my first time I wasnt expecting proffesional photographs (this will take more experience) but I sure as heck tried and really happy with what Got. Thank you to Hollie and Connor on giving me this amazing chance. It also helped my confidence a great deal and will help me progress into new levels of photography!

Inspired by some of my Flickr friends, I've been working on compiling a list of all the birds I have photographed. I started a new Flickr album to help keep me on task. I still have several more new to me birds to share before I am complete. And of course, I hope to add plenty more in the future.
This, I believe, is a black vulture. Usually we see turkey vultures around here. This is the first and only time so far I have seen a black vulture. I was leaving one of my favorite local birding spots and traveling a country road when I came upon this guy/gal feasting on some road kill. I stopped the car in hopes of getting a shot, but it flew off up into the trees. Fortunately, I didn't completely spook it and managed to get some shots out the car window. I was also fortunate to have my camera and zoom lens sitting right beside me since I had just finished searching for birds at the pond.
It appears that this area is in the northernmost range of the black vulture, according to All About Birds from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology ... link follows ...
