God's Utterance "God’s Work, God’s Disposition, and God Himself III" (Part One)
Introduction
Almighty God says: "God sees this instance of management of mankind, of saving humans, as more important than anything else. He does these things not only with His mind, nor is it only with His words, and He particularly does not do it casually—He does all of these things with a plan, with a goal, with standards, and with His will. It is clear that this work to save mankind holds great significance for both God and man. No matter how difficult the work is, no matter how great the obstacles are, no matter how weak humans are, or how deep mankind’s rebelliousness is, none of this is difficult for God. God makes Himself busy, expending His effort and managing the work He Himself wants to carry out. He is also arranging everything, and ruling all the people and the work He wants to complete—none of this has been done before. It is the first time God has used these methods and paid a great price for this major project of managing and saving mankind. While God is carrying out this work, little by little He is expressing to humans without reservation His hard work, what He has and is, His wisdom and almightiness, and every aspect of His disposition. He unreservedly reveals all of this to mankind bit by bit, revealing and expressing these things as He has never done before."

Lou and I were at Meadowbrook this morning when it flew to the small tree.
I had a better view of it than Lou did, and of course it just stayed a moment.
I'm still very happy to have photographed a damselfly on a flower, unfortunately I am not sure about my definition of the species and could not assign her exactly till today.
On my way home from work I stopped my car near the street and tried shooting light trails for the first time because I had my cam with me by chance. I am satisfied with the result. Especially because it was the first photo of this kind for me.

Recently, my first in print.*
I've wanted to go to Palouse Falls for the longest time. I knew I wanted to shoot a longer than normal expo so that I could get the swirl.
When shooting sunset here, it is opposite sunset.
Then the skies exploded. <3
I am using my CPL and 3-stop ND gradient.

Guru and Muse have spent a fair amount of time on the cat tower watching the older cats come and go from the cat enclosure by way of the cat flap (see comments), but I had not seen either of them attempt to push the door open or indicate any interest in going outside.
Yesterday, Tina started for the cat flap and Guru rushed to try to squeeze through the hole with her. So I opened the door.
As soon as he was outside, he wanted to know how to get back in--which is prudent.

I went back inside to show Guru that he could come back in through the cat flap, and Muse bulldozed past me to join Guru in the enclosure. Guru seems a bit awed by Muse (even though the are the same age), and I love his face in this set of 3 shots... peering over Guru's shoulder, sticking close for reassurance.
I have not tried abstracting beach scenes before and we live a little way from the beach! Thanks to Sedat and his challenge this week I gave it my first go. I thought I was getting absolutely nothing but when I got home and downloaded my 100 photos lol, I found a few that may fit the subject. It is a good start anyway.
Today (29th Dec) in Mount Lofty Botanics, the first flowering of the Titan Arum - a first in South Australia. This giant can grow to anything between 2-3m tall and is the largest unbranched inflorescence in the world.
The "Amorphophallus Titanium" plant, native to Sumatra, takes a decade (!!!) to flower for the first time and lasts only a 2-3 days. For those few days the plant emits a sickening odour of rotting flesh to attract pollinators, insects which feed on dead animals or lay their eggs in rotting meat. It is thus also known as the Corpse Flower.
The popular name "titan arum" was invented by Sir David Attenborough- the famous broadcaster and naturalist - in his programme "The Private Life of Plants” where flowering and pollination of the plant were filmed for the first time. Attenborough felt that constantly referring to the plant as Amorphophallus titanium - which literally means “giant, misshapen phallus” on a popular TV documentary would be inappropriate :)
Despite the summer heat here today (36C) and the stench of the plant, thousands of people came to see this unique event, queuing up for ages to get a glimpse. I was lucky and got up early before it got too busy and was fortunate to get this shot.
HA25 makes a first time appearance on Route 157. Alongside being the first daytime appearance of a bus thats not a T on said route. It is seen on Morden Hall Road starting a long trip to Crystal Palace.
Brenda participated for the first time in this shoot where we spent our day together with fun and humor and tried to get some beautiful photos out of the old center of The Hague.....

The Authentic Old Drugstore takes you back to the early days
when St. Augustine was but a Spanish hamlet. It was built by
Antonio Gomaas in 1739. He built it as a place of revelry, within
the the jurisdiction of the city, for protection, but away from the
actual settlement. They sold liquor, tobacco, medicine and Indian remedies. They also sold many of their own medical concoctions. The historic building went through many owner changes and many renovations. It was purchased in the late 1980’s by and is still owned by the Harris Foundation. They made many repairs and opened this fascinating Museum free of charge to the public. The Authentic Old Drugstore is maintained and supported by the sales in the gift shop. The gift shop is contained in the area that was once a courtyard and has made no impact on the original historic building. For a contrast to today’s high-tech pharmacies, stop in at the Oldest Drug Store located in Historic downtown. You won’t see any computers – instead, antique cash registers, wood floors and bottles of remedies. Elixirs and tonics are a charming representation of an era gone by.

Es ist das erste mal, dass ich mich an einem Halloween-Kürbis versucht habe. Es war ein ganz kleiner Zierkürbis und ich sag's mal so: schön ist anders, aber schlimmer geht immer ;)
It's the first time I've tried a Halloween Pumpkin. It was a very small ornamental pumpkin and I would say: it's not a beauty, but I've seen some more worst then mine own one ;)
