ZAHS advanced band performs at Grandberry Mall

Zama American High School’s advanced band played for the first time in a local foreign national concert venue May 22 at Grandberry Mall.

Kevin Hanson, Zama American School band teacher, said he has been here nine years and they have been unable to find a venue off-base.

“For this performance opportunity, we had to send a video of the band to be asked/accepted to play,” said Hanson.

The symphonic band of 41 students played a variety of music to include some Disney movie themed music, Batman’s theme song and the Mission Impossible movie theme song.

Hanson said the mall manager was watching the crowd and everyone seemed to enjoy it.

“We were invited to come back anytime,” said Hanson.

i shot almost 500 photos today at work. i was literally photographing from the time i got there at 11 til the time i left at 6:30. i am far too sick of them to go through and post, but i've decided this can be my 365.

still hopelessly voting in the contest because i reallyreallyreally want to win (then again, who doesn't?) as it's going, my photo is doing great but i can't keep constantly voting for the next however-many-days...

anyway, i now have six photos in circulation. watch out for them :)

oh, and please know that any of you who may be voting for me (no matter how much or how little) : THANK YOU. i've said it more than once and i'll keep saying it for the next month. i really, really, really appreciate it (because i know how time consuming it is, and there's actually something in it for me). really can't thank ya enough :)

October 12, 2023 - Neon Museum's Photographers' Night in Las Vegas, NV. This was my first time ever visiting this place.

27th March (86/365)

After an early start for a cake sale, followed up by a Cafe Church style thing, I went back to my Aunt's to see Rebekah running to the car exclaiming she can ride her bike with out stabilisers, I remember when riding my bike with out stabilisers was the biggest deal in my little life. And then I fell off and cried. She fell off rounding a corner and went "Oh" and got back on and chased the boys down her street :')

Pride ♥

Hardly been off her back since her first visit
