The next thing to work on will be the apron. I'm thinking ruffles and gathers. :) We will see....

The first time I saw this tiny grasshopper was at the end of June. It was smaller than the petal, or even the bud, of one of my dahlias. It let me stand very close with my camera, patiently keeping an eye on me while I followed it around.

The first time this year I headed down to English Bay to catch the sunset. Being able to watch sunsets like this from downtown has always been one of my favourite things about Vancouver.
