I can't believe I haven't done one of these before - as in a bathroom Polaroid self-portrait - but there you have it. Clearly, my life was missing something VERY important.
I think it's mostly because I loathe public bathrooms. So this was not high on the priority list. But look at me, taking big strides on my big adventure! Saying good-bye to 2008 and my fears with such style!
Also, I don't know what my left hand is doing, because that's actually not how I normally shoot with the SX-70. I think I made myself nervous and was all fumbly. Either that or I really wanted to get out of the public bathroom and into the photobooth I'd just found.
Army meeting new friends at the Eau Claire dog park for the first time! He's a total social butterfly. There were roughly 30 other dogs there today and he had a blast. Nobody could guess what he was though, most people thought he was either a great dane puppy, pit bull, or Dalmation.

On 26 June 2019, Imbuto Foundation, in partnership with UNFPA Rwanda, held a validation meeting at the Kigali Marriott Hotel, for the First Time Young Mothers (FTYMs) pilot project report. The FTYMs project aims to improve the health of teen mothers, as well as ensure the well being of their children.
This car was bought by my papaw (grandpa) in 1971 from Universal Motors in the town of Richmond,VA. They moved to Greeneville, TN in 1973 and the car came along with them. It was used until 1983 where it was parked on the hill behind all trees and the garden. Behind the trailer and sheds and it was forgotten and wasnt touched for nearly 30 years. I honestly had never seen it until papaw told me to look at it the other day he thought I might like it,well I did! I have now been in the process of saving this old car from the sands of time. Its the last Galaxie around from the 70s in my area. Its not lucky enough to be a Camaro or Chevelle its a Galaxie a car that for the most part, Is forgotten. So now I hope to fix the car not restore it and drive it with pride!
Papaw and Mamaw are still alive and well and tell us all stories of the old days in Wise Virginia talking about the moonshine the mining and the music!

Well no, that isn't true. We are back from a holiday. 8 days in Northern Norway. We stayed with Mettes sister and had trips to Lofoten and Vesteraalen. Land of the midnight sun, breathtaking scenery and the most gentle and honest people!
It is the first time we have gone for a holiday in summer, and it was great to have long warm days when we're on vacation for a change. But as a farmer was it a bit too much to do before and after, to be able to go. Pretty stressful, but it paid off! You will be flooded with holiday pictures in the weeks to come.
This young fellow hasn't been in the war either, he just have lost most of his right horn, and was bleeding pretty much, so we had to put on a bandage.
THE 24 HOUR PLAYS: A BENNINGTON ALUMNI TRIBUTE TO NICKY MARTIN was a one-night only benefit, created and produced by a talented cast and crew of Bennington alumni. Most building on campus at Bennington are open 24 hours, and it is not uncommon to find students working late on projects and performance pieces. The 24 Hour Play performances included alumni who have attended the College across decades, coming together to collaborate either for the first time or as they did while on campus-- collaborating with an intensity and creativity familiar to their Bennington experience.
Proceeds from Bennington's 24 Hour Plays helped to establish the Nicky Martin Memorial Scholarship for Performing Arts at Bennington College. Nicky (Joel) Martin, who died in the spring of 2014, was a Tony-nominated and Obie Award-winning theater director and beloved former faculty member at Bennington. Martin was an actor for most of his life and turned to directing when he was in his early 40s. He was at Bennington from the late 1970s to the mid-1980s and inspired a younger generation of directors and actors whom he continued to work with throughout his career at the Huntington Theater Company and the Williamstown Theater Festival. He directed a number of works at The Public Theater, where Bennington's 24 Hour Plays were staged.
Six plays were written, directed, and staged in a 24 hour period. They included: FINDING FORM; THE END OF THE WORLD IS COMING; THE HOLE; LAMB, AND OTHER CONSIDERATIONS; SPRING FLUNG; and SAINT JOAN VAN ARK.

I think I have photographed this rock outcropping each time I have hiked the Springlawn Trail, but this was the first time I had biked it, so one more time won't hurt. White Clay Creek State Preserve, Elk Township, PA
I took my 5 year old son skiing for the first time and I was amazed at how quickly he picked up the basic technique.
First time using a DSLR and this is how the pictures turned out to be...not so good.There're like thousands of settings to adjust and I only knew to adjust the WB the iso,the F and shutter speed.New Camera,new challenge.
Serena: Don't be so tense Ayumi. You'll knock em' dead. I remember my first time.
Ayumi: I'm not tense...I've just never hosted anything before let alone men.
Serena: You'll do fine, just do as I do! But if they get too grabby, remember...we have permission to punch.
Hi All! I hope you enjoy this photo, my girls haven't taken a photo together in a while. This is when Serena and Ayumi used to work together as hostesses in "Just Let Go". I really enjoyed today, lovely rainy weather is very calming, especially with hot chocolate 8)
