No kidding.. I was initially nervous until the needle went in and I didn't feel a thing (it hurt more when the doctor pricked my finger to test my blood). This was for Chi's dad.
The USM Men's Cross Country Team won the KCAC Championships title for the first time in team history and secured a spot in the NAIA Cross Country Championships.
The KCAC race was stacked with 10 great teams. The USM Mens' Team was led by Brooks Ballou, who won the race overall. Right behind Brooks was Garrett Colglazier, who placed 3rd, and Josh Whittaker who placed 5th.
The women placed sixth out of 10 teams. They were led by Ana Gamboa, who placed second overall, and secured a spot to the NAIA Cross Country Championships.

Now we're talking! This is my first time I was able to nicely capture the Great Red Spot of Jupiter, which may or may not be the same giant storm that already Galieo Galilei observed through his telescopes (there's actually a lively debate among scientists if it is the same, or just a very similar storm).
On the evening of January 20, 2024, the four Galiean Moons (indeed the same!) and were grouped close to the planet, and in addition the famous "eye" was also facing towards earth. In addition, seeing was also quite decent, as you can see from the rather detailed cloud structures.

On Sun., Oct. 10 was the first time since February that I was able to take a "real" train trip to Big Lake.

My roll of black and white film came in today! This is the first time I've had any sort of film developed in almost fifteen years! I'm absolutely stunned (and in love) with the way they came out. These were shot on a forty year old Olympus OM-1 with a 50mm lens and 20-200mm zoom lens. It's age shows in the nicks and scratches on the lens, but it just gives the photograph a very nice feel to it.
First time out for some test shots with my new love...my Nikon D700! Can't wait to take her out for real...love her!!! Oh, and such a ham, my youngest little guy.
Opened to the public only a few weeks ago, I was quick to reserve tickets so that Susan and I could check out the latest art repositry. And, with the exception of a few works that made me scoff, enjoy it we did
My first stab at HDR processing.. it's not the best photo to work with, but the only one I had available in RAW. Also Liam's first time on a school bus to pre-school! I've not yet purchased the full version of the software, so pls forgive the watermark... I'll take care of that as soon as I can. I think the HDR processing might really give my photos the punch I'm looking for.
First time out with the camera for a long time this morning. I strolled down to Tower Bridge to see what the sunrise would be like.

First time we been here, arrived 5:20 in the morning.. too early to go out shoot and too TIRED to go out scout the place.. 3 of us sleep in the car until my buddy Liew suddenly jump up and said... ORANGE... grab the gears jump out from the car, ran down to the beach and ended up fall in deep thought of angle while looking at the beautiful orange dawn ...

TTI 260 had been delivered to the IRM just within the past couple weeks or so, and was in running shape. August 11th 2019 it would run a train on the IRM mainline for the first time, and here it is captured leading the caboose train east.

First time ko ng byaheng soutbound (Katipunan - Megamall). Sa EDSA na dumami ang pasahero lalo na sa Ortigas at Shaw. Malungkot lang na hindi na ako nakasakay pauwi. 6pm pa lang, wala ng byaheng Aurora galing Megamall. :(
