We went away for the weekend to celebrate my little boy's first birthday. This was the bonfire we made on Saturday evening. It was just beautiful!

More fire show action! I did my best to blind them with my speedlite whilst they were juggling with fire. Clearly I try to be a helpful individual!
Now this is an old one, the Russia Supreme Court building on fire, back in the late 90's, not sure which year it was exactly... scanned in y2k

In Superior today the old Globe Elevator caught on fire. It was being dismantled and caught on fire. No injuries have been reported.
One night around 2am we stumbled upon this at Fuji Rock, perhaps one of the more "surprising" acts at Fuji. This man started off dancing in some kind of apparently fire proof suit under a shower with several jets of fire surrounding him which seemed like your "standard" man-in-fire act. However about half-way through to the surprise of the crowd he got rid of ALL of his protective gear. The greatest part of this was the crowd's reaction.

My brother's volunteer fire fighter class at one of their excercises. He used this shot as the background on the plaque they had made up for their captain.

This picture could not have been ANY better if I tried. The timing was beyond perfect, and it is very clear and just looks great. One of the best pictures I have EVER taken.
