After 47 years of service the last S set carriage was withdrawn from service on June 28. Sydney Trains, Transport Heritage NSW, Sydney Electric Train Society and Historic Electric Traction banded together to arrange a final farewell even for the S set trains on July 21.
Starting out of Central in the morning 3 generations of electric rollingstock lined up for a parallel run through to Strathfield and St Mary's.
Vintage Electric single deck train F1 heads down the main with 880B to St Marys, S sets S56 and S28 on the down suburban with 881B and the newest delivery, B24 on the local with 882B to Strathfield and Leppington.
The F and S set continued through to St Mary's before returning to Central where the S set then ventured out on an afternoon tour of the suburbs.
The S set consist comprised of: S28 - C3986, T4050, T4013, C3765, S56 - C3001, T4101, T4961, C3862.
These cars will all be retained for preservation. There are approximately 8 more S set carriages out of the remaining 28 to to go to scrap.
2019-07-21 Sydney Trains 3 Generations Parralel run at Croydon 880B 881B 882B
SBB 11115 passes through Lausen hauling the Inter Regio IR 2176 09:47 Locorno to Basel SBB in May 2014. The Class Re 4/4" had taken over the service at Luzern where the train reversed direction for the final leg of the journey via Olten.

48203, 48215 and 48218 power across the final hill before dropping down into The Rock as 3926 loaded grain train from Boree Creek to Junee Sub Terminal.
8166 was attached at The Rock and the 3 48s were swapped for a 2nd 81 at Junee for the run to Inner Harbour.

Post sunrise long exposure at Catherine Hill Bay coal loader ruins, on the central coast of NSW, Australia.
Nikon D800 & Nikkor 16-35mm, Formatt 10 stop filter. PP in PS CC using Nik Software and luminosity masks.
The 8651 runs around to the north side of its train in order to shove cars into their proper tracks at the transload facility.
GBRf's final leased Akiem locomotive 66316 passes the HS2 works at Saltley with 6F95 Avonmouth Hanson Siding to Ketton Ward Siding.
The bridge here at Saltley will close from 9th May 2026 for 18 months, in order for its replacement, that will also cross HS2, to be constructed.
Following its conversion to UK gauge specifications at EMD Longport, the locomotive had GBRf decals applied over its HHPI Grey and was pressed into service before a fully repaint due to time restrictions with a busy RHTT season ahead.

At RMU Banovici's Oskova washery during the evening of 23rd February 2015, 760mm gauge 0-6-0 tank 25-30 (built by CKD in 1947) gives a final push out of the tipping dock to the discharged hopper wagons, before setting back light and the heading up the grade to the exchange sidings on the clear track in order to collect another load for tipping. The tipping dock labourers meanwhile take a quick break in their bothy before the next load arrives for tipping.

For the final round we were tasked with finding something about where we live that could be considered creative, artistic or any place that people would want to visit. My favorite place to visit for inspiration and beauty is the St. Louis Art Museum. I go nearly every Friday, they stay open late and have a free traveling exhibition on Fridays, and this time Rose was able to come along. We had a lot of fun in every round but in this one we met lots of nice (and curious) people and a few went home planning on buying a pullip of their own. ^^U
Open to all and free to all, the St. Louis Art Museum is one of the principal U.S. art museums, visited by up to a half million people every year. It's currently being expanded to include more than 224,000 square feet , and I can't wait until it's finished! The museum has a large variety of local artist George Caleb Bingham paintings as well as works by the all the European masters such as Matisse, Gauguin, Monet, Picasso, and Van Gogh. It's an awe inspiring place and one of
my favorite to visit. I go there so often, I could give tours. xD

On its final day of operation at the GWSR new build Grange 6880 Betton Grange works past Didbrook with the 10:55 service train from Broadway to Cheltenham RC. Just cool enough for some decent exhaust before it became too warm. GWSR. Wednesday 19th June 2024.
Aunque el Camino realmente finaliza en la catedral de Santiago, basado en antiguas tradiciones de peregrinos que continuaban hasta Finisterre donde según cuentan las leyendas, se daban un baño purificador, quemaban las viejas ropas que habían llevado en el camino y recogían una concha de vieira que guardaban como símbolo de habere peregrinado a Santiago, hoy día, cada vez son más los peregrinos que realizan este epílogo hasta Finisterre o Muxía.
