Hello my amazing Flickr friends !

Today is a black and white day at Color my world Daily and we celebrate Sliders Sunday.

Today I have a very highly processed picture of my festive lights in black and white. This is another version of this them but I like it. So I hope you will like it as well…

Yesterday, I had a very spontaneous family gathering with my parents. I had a crazy day but an awesome time ! I set up all of my Christmas decor, including the Christmas tree ( yes !! My Christmas tree is all done ! Can you believe it ??) !! We did some major decluttering of our clothes with my husband (which was very fun, actually !!) and of course I prepared a meal for my parents and us. If you are curious: we had pierogis.

I’m very sorry but with all that I could not answer all of your comments !! I will try to catch up as soon as possible my friends !! Meanwhile stay well and safe !!

Xmas lights just outside the Irish pub in Bruges, on the Burg, on a foggy evening.

This is the 'Wishing trees wood': you can write down a wish, put it in a plastic ball and hang it in one of the trees.

OK So I guess I didn't really read much beyond the "Festive Lights" theme for the group, "Looking Close... on Friday". It seems they were looking to include some kind of light source in the image. No problem and for this pic you'll need to look even closer to see the one blue Christmas light prominently on display in the field of bokeh, now flipped on it's side! The focus may be a bit sketchy but that's the Oreston for you, wide open it just loves to do bokeh!

Just a little fun with the Christmas tree ornaments and some festive lighting provided by what can only be described as a "clump" of Christmas tree lights, and in keeping with the theme, one blue Christmas light. Amazing what the Meyer Optik 50mm can find with 41.5mm of extension tubes!

Nu när det är som mörkast i Norden tänder vi ljus så ofta vi kan. Den 21 december vänder det och det blir sakta ljusare igen.

Now, when it’s the darkest period in the Nordic countries, we light candles as often as we can. On December 21, it turns around and slowly it’s getting lighter again.
