Some of the millions of snowdrops that are in the grounds of Hodsock Priory in Nottinghamshire. Each February they open their estate for all of us to have a look round and marvel at the huge amount of snowdrops.
I guess there are all the varieties of snowdrops dotted around the grounds, some are easy to distinguish and others need a keen eye to spot.
Out of the three boys, Sam and I are the most bonded I think. We have spent pretty much every day and night together for over 10 years.
If you break that down
10 years, 5 months, 11 days
329,742,000 seconds
5,495,700 minutes
91,595 hours
3816 days (rounded down)
545 weeks (rounded down)
It will never be enough time though!

Welcome to month two of our 2017 Tour of Paris. We stay iconic for the month of February with a somewhat non-traditional shot across the nave of the famous Notre Dame Cathedral. This place is so big, that even the small shots seem larger than life. It just goes on and on - a magnificent building - but what do you expect for something that took roughly 175 years to throw up?
Head over to the Central Illinois PhotoBlog to get your free desktop calendar in one of many useful sizes - and enjoy more Paris!
February 16, 2017 at Cali, Valle del Cauca, Colombia. The Colombian Chachalaca (Ortalis columbiana) was considered a subspecies of the Speckled Chachalaca (Ortalis guttata) but was recently reclassified as a distinct species. The Colombian Chachalaca is ENDEMIC to Colombia. They are locally common in areas of the Magdalena and Cauca Valleys up to 2000 meters (6500 feet) above sea level. Pancake day, or shrovetide, (laskiainen in finnish) is in Finland the day of february. It is the day when it is traditionally served shrove buns with hot chocolate. And they are availlable all the february.
My mind travels back to last February 2017 when I was on vacation with my two daughters, two son-in-laws and 4 grand children. What happiness! Taken from my archives.
Enjoy your day and thanks for your visits and comments.

One of it's common names is a "September bush."
A bit of bright colour for a cold damp day.
Better viewed large and thank you for your favourites.

Winter walk to the lake. The lake was partially frozen, the day was dark and gloomy, and my film is unevenly developed - I'd say, I mixed a bit too strong dilution. Oh well, that's the charm of analogue photography and developing at home.
Taken with Minolta Dynax 7000i camera and Minolta AF Zoom 100–300mm F4.5–5.6 tele lens, on Fujifilm Neopan 400 black & white film. 205mm, 1/500 exposure, ƒ/5.6, 400 ASA.
Developed with Fomadon R09, stand-process, 1+100 dilution for 1 hour with one inversion at 30 min mark.
Scanned with Plustek OpticFilm 8100 film scanner using VueScan 9.5.

Three of the five Arches of Old Abandoned Bride's Glen Railway Viaduct in Loughlinstown, Dublin, Ireland
This Viaduct carried the old Harcourt Street Railway line. The railway line was closed in 1959 and the track removed. The Luas Green line tram runs on most parts of the old railway line from nearby Brides Glen into Dublin.
It was not possible to get a photo of the entire five Arches of the Viaduct. Also, I had to contend with modern fixtures like power and phone cables.
. . . For the first time in a month, I almost had to wear sunglasses indoors at home! All of my plants in west facing windows were very happy!
Have a great week Facebook and Flickr friends!
