This is a quilt of my grandmother's. Perfect for celebrating the 17th day of February Alphabet Fun Month!
Yes, it's true. Whenever I haven't taken a picture all day, I'm stuck taking one of our dog. But what a stroke of luck that she's so damn photogenic! She takes after her mother, that way...
This was another one of those quiet Saturdays... I didn't mention that yesterday I went to the gym (I was too busy talking about Obama). That's twice in three days! Action! Maybe the hypnosis *is* working!
Anyway, today I had a brainstorm/notes session with Dan on LIR, and Julie and I waited for Jeremy to become a dad. I got updates via text. Like this.
3cm.
5cm. Probably not until tonight. Only halfway there.
9cm!
And finally...
Finn 5lbs 7
Sawyer 5lbs 4
Hooray! (And at last the mystery of the names is solved!)
So tomorrow we'll probably visit NYU Medical.
Jules and I had dinner at Nonna, and Julie had PASTA. I know, it must be a blue moon under the cloud cover! Anyway, it was nice. We watched an In Treatment, she went to bed, and I've been intermittently working on the presentation and watching a rerun of the William Shatner Roast on Comedy Central. You know, they don't censor anything at this hour. Since when did that start happening on Basic Cable? How awesome!
(insert haiku here)
(no really, put a haiku)

This photo marks the 3rd day in a row I got my POTD done before going to work. It's kinda nice, since work's been busy and I always get home when it is way dark.
Anyway, this knot looks like an eye... :) I was going to type something witty here about "knot eye" vs. "not I" but I can't think of anything. Feel free to comment some neat sayings below!

I do still have my glasses on, but this also two things I tend to avoid: closeups, and smiling. I don't like the way I look when I smile, but here I am, letting it happen, closeup and personal. :)
A gray day and quiet, With slow clouds of gray, And in dull air a cloud that falls, falls All day.
The naked and stiff branches Of oak,elm ,thorn In the cold light are like men aged and Forlorn.
Only a gray sky,Grass, trees grass again,And all the air a cloud that drips drips All day.
Lovely the lonely Bare trees and green grass-Lovelier now the last hours of winter Slowly pass. by John Freeman
