Schonfeld says she came because "I want to celebrate his life, and I want to say 'thank you'," for programs Kennedy championed such as the Voting Rights Act and Head Start, which Schonfeld says has benefit her grandchildren. She's optimistic that Kennedy's former colleagues on the hill will honor his legacy by working hard to pass a health care bill.
