Can someone id this bird? I was lucky to get this shot. These birds were flying by me so fast. I tracked his guy and snapped the shutter as he was going by my head. Thanks to the 7D for some fast focus capability.
Fast becoming a favourite café of ours because it's on a cycle route, near Ouseburn, Newcastle. I liked the perspective that the zoom lens gives to this shot. This is the Millennium Bridge joining Newcastle and Gateshead, UK.
"The Chivito" -- beef tenderloin, ham, bacon, green olives, mozzarella, hard-boiled egg, lettuce, tomato, escabeche (comprised of red peppers, onion, and garlic in olive oil), and mayo. Enormous, delicious $13 sandwich and voted one of the best of DC. Literally attached to a gas station.
This was in a lavender field in Appomattox and the sun was beautiful! She wore a tulle skirt, which made the whole session that much more magical :)
This is the photo I chose for fast. I used this picture because the leaves were blowing fast in the wind. I had my shutter speed at 1/50 to make sure I was able to catch the movement.
