Theres a fair amount of squirrels sqeaking away in this STi... only if it had a propper stance

Daisy, having a nap back at our hotel in Gidleigh Park. She doesn't get to sleep on the bed with us at home - so having Daisy there with us (admittedly only during the day, while we were awake) was just an awesome, awesome day.

When I think of all the holidays I've been on, this was the best. This moment is why.

I typically eat fast food on Thursdays, because I do not have time to make dinner.

I love this because it is painted on the window of a Chinese Fast Food Restaurant. In fact you cannot get fries or anything on a bun here. They do have soda. I am not sure if I am missing the idea of the sign or it is just left over from a different restaurant in this building

This amused me so I had to take a snap.

The final choice for the Fast Pace zine photo contest is a sick one...check trick track to see what was the haps.

Seems this zinnia was moving just a bit too fast for me to catch up...but I so enjoyed watching her dance... ;-) Ok. So, that was a lame excuse as a disclaimer for the bad shot...but the flower definitely had more energy than I did at the time and I found that the colors give me a boost so here she is - for the next time I'm running low.

Today is the perfect slow Sunday afternoon - gorgeous sunny skies, mild temps, soft breeze...the rose bush is covered with blooms as well as the begonia and geranium - the grass is still green and lush, but I'm seeing hints of turning color in the leaves of the neighbor's trees over the fence. The butterflies are flitting, the hummingbirds and bees are buzzing - I've got a good book facedown on my lap which I'm too lulled and content to pick up (or the camera at my elbow.) I'm fully expecting a bluebird to light on my shoulder at any moment and burst into a choreographed musical number. ;-)

Hope your day is as beautiful.

Perfect music for a lazy Sunday afternoon, Chuck Brown & Eva Cassidy: God Bless The Child.

A bit hard to climb but it's a worthy effort !

WOW,that was fast,I think we just passed a London's zoo!!

On 22 August 2018, I had the most memorable time, for my birthday earlier in the year, my wonderful children and their families bought for me a Big Cat Photo experience at Longleat. It consisted of a 2-hour ride in a Land Rover with a very knowledgeable guide, there were two other participants, we were taken into the enclosures where the big cats live and our guide took us off-road and into the best positions to get brilliant photographs. Throughout the experience I tried to balance the desire to take pictures with just watching these magnificent creatures doing what they do best. Even so, I took nearly 300 images, from this I reduced the number that I would process and keep to 35 and of those I have uploaded 9 shots. It was so difficult to choose which ones to upload.

I thought that I would show firstly, the undisputed fast cat, the Cheetah (Acinonyx Jubatus). just look at that lithesome body, those powerful limbs that can carry the animal at speeds up to 103 kph (64 mph) over short distances. Can you be anything but impressed with such a creature?

forgot to upload this one....we decided to fast for the week when sameer was here, but ended up calling it short. this was him doing his break-fast, on a piece of chocolate. he ate it very very slowly, it was just hilarious ;)
