I took my drone up to New Hampshire on Tuesday, and I can’t believe how beautiful it was. Unfortunately my car broke down on the way back, so I’m not sure if I’ll be able to go up there again. Shot RAW on DJI Mavic Air and processed in Lightroom.
Focusing on the bridge over the Eau Claire River, the composition is more interesting to me with the people admiring the dells. I'm also experimenting with Adobe Lightroom for post-production.

From Wikipedia:
A leaf is usually green because of the presence of a pigment known as chlorophyll, which is inside an organelle called a chloroplast. When abundant in the leaf's cells, as during the growing season, the chlorophyll's green color dominates and masks out the colors of any other pigments that may be present in the leaf.
In late summer, as daylight hours shorten and temperatures cool, the veins that carry fluids into and out of the leaf are gradually closed off as a layer of special cork cells forms at the base of each leaf. As this cork layer develops, water and mineral intake into the leaf is reduced, slowly at first, and then more rapidly. During this time, the chlorophyll begins to decrease and the other colors start to show. Often, the veins are still green after the tissues between them have almost completely changed color.

Thanks to all of you who fave and comment on the photograph.
The rain stopped and the sky turned yellow at sunset making the foliage glow. I thought the photos would look great, but they were over-saturated, so I removed some of the yellow glow.

I know that there is already snow in many places in our area, but there is also quite a bit of Fall foliage on some hardwood trees in certain locations I have been to in the last week or so. Not being completely ready to let go and transition yet, I resurrected this photo I took two years ago down in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia, near Berwick. I'd like to say that I live there, but it probably ain't gonna happen as they say!
P.S. If that lottery ticket sittin' on my dresser top has the right numbers on it when I check it later on this morning....well...things just might suddenly change...
A fall season has just started. So, of course, there are (and will be) more paintings of fall foliage... 😌
A morning picture of my stacked wood and the yellow maple leaves---both will have to be used or moved. Taken with my new camera.
