I know I have posted several pictures of this mill already, but I don't get out much these days so bear with me.
This fly was just sitting there on this brilliant red maple leaf trying to warm up in the morning sun. It wasn't about to fly off just because I had a camera lens very close to it's face.
Missing the beautiful Autumn colors of the East Coast. Luckily we have the Sierra Nevada mountains. Hope Valley, CA.
Our large garden is down in here, along with a berry patch and this huge bunch of very tall flowers. Photo is from late September.
An early morning fall forest walk with a fisheye lens. This is a new direction I'm trying in an attempt to bring something different into my forest photography, which I thought was becoming much too repetitive. Will this be different or just another collection of similar photos in the end or will it open my eyes to more possibilities?

Walking around in the autumnally coloured wineyards west of Baden-Baden, the so-called "Baden-Baden Rebland" between Rhine river plains and hills of northern Black Forest.
As everywhere in the western foothills of the Black Forest between Basel and Heidelberg, the landscape is characterized by winegrowing.
