Ashes at age 15

It's always nice to get a overcast day when shooting waterfalls, not having to use filters. Big thanks to Scott Betz for the flow update!

   

I might look at it again in the next couple days to see if I should add some more details or just stop right here.

the sad part is, with cold weather around, it is really hard to go back to see this beauty again.

Maples at their peak of color, on every hillside. Autumn in the foothills of New York!!

Enough farmland remains to give the countryside a nice contrast between the green hayfields and the woods.

These wonderfuly pinky-purple leaves belong to red-osier dogwood, Cornus sericea. They really pop out from the green and gold all around them.

I love when the lake is very still and I really love the colors of fall. We don’t enjoy the vivid beauty of northern state but that just makes is relish the changes we do get.

Sunlight illuminates a decaying leaf.

Fall foliage is still alive and kickin'... but not for long. Get out there and enjoy the colors before it's too late.

I took my drone up to New Hampshire on Tuesday, and I can’t believe how beautiful it was. Unfortunately my car broke down on the way back, so I’m not sure if I’ll be able to go up there again. Shot RAW on DJI Mavic Air and processed in Lightroom.

Focusing on the bridge over the Eau Claire River, the composition is more interesting to me with the people admiring the dells. I'm also experimenting with Adobe Lightroom for post-production.
