Autumn Reflections in the Tumwater Canyon along Route 2 in Washington State. Thanks for the visits and have a wonderful Sunday. :-)
We had a beautiful Fall day yesterday. Perfect weather for a hike around Bottom Creek Gorge in Montgomery County! This one leaf was on the ground and caught my eye. And I thought it would make a great shot with the way the sun was filtering in through the trees. My husband was a good sport and held it just right for me :)
Thanks for taking a moment out of your busy day to view my photo!! I hope you all have a wonderful week ahead! Happy Monday!!!!

The Agawa Canyon excursion trains soars across Bellevue trestle on a beautiful fall morning in Ontario.
The train departed Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, less than an hour ago on a 10-hour round trip to Agawa Canyon Park and back.
In March 1929, a magnitude 7.1 earthquake near Arthurs Pass caused a 900 metre high section of a 1901 m high mountain to collapse. The landslide slid partway up Mt Franklin on the other side of the valley, and reached as far as 5 kilometres down the Otehake River (West Branch). Nearly 80 years later, the valley below shows very little sign of life and is almost lunar like in appearance. The peak is now aptly named Falling Mountain.
This photo was taken at the top of the ascent of Tarn Col (1358 m), on the Edwards-Hawdon tramping route. It takes about 2 hours to get from the Edwards River valley (see note), over the debris, and up the col.
A view from the valley floor towards Tarn Col is located here.

We visited this house over four years ago. Some time in the intervening years part of the wrap around porch collapsed. Now only the portion over the front door remains. Soon, it will come falling down too.
Secret #16- I'm a procrastonator. It's one of my worst traits, and I hate it about myself, but I honestly can't control it. I like to get things done ahead of time, I just can't. I plan things out, but it's hard for me to follow through with those plans. It has costed me a lot and made me miss out on some pretty good things. I've struggled with this pretty much my whole life, at least as long as I can remember. I think one of the worst things I procrastinate with is phone calls. People are always calling me and when I miss those calls, I say "I'll call them back tonight" and then I don't, so I say I will the next day and then I don't. By the time I really pick up the phone to call, it's been a while. But I think procrastination and memory loss go hand in hand on that one, haha!
HBW!! :)
Front Page! YAY Thanks everyone!!
