Brilliant fall foliage along the Baker River in New Hampshire. On the side of the road on our way to Woodstock and Franconia, a fortuitous find. Totally enchanting view.

A long flat cloud appears over the banks of the reservoir with colors that seem to fall into the trees below.
This was supposed to be a sunrise. But the fog rolled in.
And the fog softens the colors, adding its own mystery. On this morning, it may have been better than a sunrise.

I am looking forward for the trees to change colors. This is a shot taken last fall durning a trip to the canyon.
An old round barn is positively aglow in the fading autumn warmth of a setting sun even though it is not in use any more. Every season of life has its good points but a person who has lived a satisfying life often shows a life glow in their fall season.
A last minute decision to spend the weekend in the park was a good one :-D Sorry I've been MIA....busy with a bunch of work-related deadlines/projects after a busy two weeks away with my Utah friends.
