Back in Colorado last weekend for some fall color... L O V E

this year we had snow on the same day and the leaves were mostly gone

A long flat cloud appears over the banks of the reservoir with colors that seem to fall into the trees below.

This was supposed to be a sunrise. But the fog rolled in.

And the fog softens the colors, adding its own mystery. On this morning, it may have been better than a sunrise.

I am looking forward for the trees to change colors. This is a shot taken last fall durning a trip to the canyon.

An old round barn is positively aglow in the fading autumn warmth of a setting sun even though it is not in use any more. Every season of life has its good points but a person who has lived a satisfying life often shows a life glow in their fall season.

This is the first I upload that were made with my new Nikon FM2n and 50/1.4 AI-s lens.

A last minute decision to spend the weekend in the park was a good one :-D Sorry I've been MIA....busy with a bunch of work-related deadlines/projects after a busy two weeks away with my Utah friends.

This structure was worthy of a panoramic shot. I wish I would have paid closer attention to framing on the second shot though.
