Near my 7th or 8th time down to this factory. Every time it gets a bit harder to get to the top! Some how I always find a new shot though. I took Margaux and Maggie with me this time they both were virgins. Nice Sunday trip with a visit to tap and mallet afterwards for a few beers and a pig roast!!
(Swedish: Forsviks Bruk) 600 years of industrial history: In 1410 Cecilia Jonsdotter Roos donated the Forsvik farm to the convent in Vadstena and when the monastery took it over there was already a flour mill on the farm.
The buildings in the factory area (around 20 buildings) are listed buildings (Swedish: byggnadsminnen) and enjoy the strongest legal cultural and historical protection available. The Swedish National Heritage Board (Swedish: Riksantikvarieämbetet) is Sweden’s central administrative agency in the area of cultural heritage. This is the reason I was in Mauritius - photographing a story about sugar and sugar production. The factory in its way was rather beautiful
