Alumni Spotlight: While on a service trip to Tanzania in 2007, Brendan Callahan (MBA’13) was so inspired by the children’s enthusiasm for learning that he co-founded the nonprofit Achieve in Africa. Three weeks ago the church near a school he is working on in Tanzania suffered a bomb attack, killing three and injuring 60, but Brendan is now even more committed to building the school "so that all children can learn together peacefully under one roof."
