It rained yesterday and is still raining. I would normally be ok with rain except for 2 things- 1) water is bad for cameras. 2) it's cold. So this photo is a day old. I have no idea what on earth is going to happen to my 365 once winter starts comming. I do not do well with cold.
(flickr did bad things to this...)
It really didn't look as though Epping Forest was going to look very good this autumn but today with a bit of sunshine, it started to show off.
I brought my tripod for some 3 exposure bracketed shots in the Morton Arboretum yesterday. I have been busy processing a large number of shots. I will try to get to my contacts page later today. Heres a link to follow for the location. www.mortonarb.org/

With all the fog at the national seashore area just north of San Francisco you couldn't get a view but being in the forest was just breathtaking. This picture was taken at the junction of the sky trail and Mt. Wittenberg trail.
Another tree/light/shadow pic, but i just love the mood in the forest these days.
have a great weekend!

Kings Forest Park looking South Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. This was once my favourite view in the entire City of Hamilton , it has since been altered considerably due to widening of Red Hill Creek, and removing dead tree's.

Sinto em mim a tua força
silenciosa.
O teu olhar doce de séculos
vê o meu caminhar descalço
sobre o tapete que teces
incansável
sobre os meus pés.
Sinto em mim a tua crença
esperançosa.
O teu carinho por mim
registado numa placa de memória
fugidia mas eterna.
E brindas-me com a mais bela
das cores
em jogo de luz e sombras
que levo comigo numa caixinha
mágica
que povoa novos sonhos ao vento.

Second-growth forest, with its tight canopy, can be very, very mossy, especially in the winter. This is in Sasquatch PP. With no shrubs or undergrowth (shaded out by tight branches above), the green, green moss really takes over.
Now I've found this place I'm going to photograph it in all weathers and all seasons! Today was very overcast and very wet. It's the sister photo of 'A drive in the forest'.Thanks for looking.
