The forest itself had a kind of dream-like quality, like I expected to find a spirit animal around who would tell me where to go after I left my job. It never came. Or, if it did, I don't remember.
Anyways, I'm soon going to the northern forests of what is now known as "Queensland" to find an old man named "Weegeegong," who I will provide with six conch shells of varying sizes. Wish me luck.

This shot was also taken on my last hike through the local forest. I loved how the spider webs in the small trees seemed to glow in the last light of the day which was breaking nicely through a small clearing into the more open forest where ferns, clover and a fine grass cover the ground. Normally there are a lot of eatable mushrooms to find in this area but the time of the year is not right and the weather was not too great for a lot of 'shroom growth.
I hope to have scouted two possible creeks that should offer some nice compositions during the last days and hope to leave for one tomorrow or the day after... we'll see how that goes... I have a weird feeling though something will ruin my plans. I just can't grab it yet...
Hope you all have a great weekend and some good light for those who aim to go shooting tomorrow (or today)!
