A mature bear tempararily stopped running through the forest just so I could get it's photograph (lol)!
Bamboo Forest, Japan.
I feel that some of the most intriguing aspects of these photographs can be seen where the lines of the mirrored images intersect. Magical little worlds of shapes and color start to jump out of the landscape and seem to create a new language of imagery within the larger scene.

It's time for mushrooming :)
Boletus edulis (English: penny bun, cep, porcino or porcini) is a basidiomycete fungus, and the type species of the genus Boletus. Widely distributed in the Northern Hemisphere across Europe, Asia, and North America, it does not occur naturally in the Southern Hemisphere, although it has been introduced to southern Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. The fungus grows in deciduous and coniferous forests and tree plantations, forming symbiotic ectomycorrhizal associations with living trees by enveloping the tree's underground roots with sheaths of fungal tissue. The fungus produces spore-bearing fruit bodies above ground in summer and autumn. Boletus edulis is an edible mushroom. Porcini are sold fresh in markets in summer and autumn in Central and Southern Europe, and dried or canned at other times of the year, and distributed worldwide to countries where they are not otherwise found. They are eaten and enjoyed raw, sautéed with butter, ground into pasta, in soups, and in many other dishes. They are one of the few mushroom species pickled and sold commercially.

Chyba czas na grzybobranie :)
Borowik szlachetny (Boletus edulis) – gatunek grzybów z rodziny borowikowatych. Do popularnych określeń gatunku należą: prawdziwek i borowik jadalny. Występuje w Ameryce Północnej i w Europie. Ponadto został też zawleczony do Nowej Zelandii i południowej Afryki. Aromatyczny grzyb jadalny o szerokich zastosowaniach w kuchniach europejskich.
Autumn time is a good time to take a walk in the forest. The smell of the air and the leaves is just what the soul need.
today's hike was looking for wild rhododendron. just starting to bloom, and not seeing as many potential blossoms - but did run into this beautiful scene in one of the state forests

____ Pony story ____
This morning I open my eyelids and I feel tickles next to me, it was Mr Lapin.
He brushed me then fitted me with my saddle to go into the forest on our first ride of the spring.
We like the morning because there aren't many people, it's calm.
All the animals are waking up too, the birds, the light and the paths are opening little by little, the grass is still soft from the night.
We returned to the stable when the sun was in the south.
Mr Lapin stripped me and brushed and carrot again!
