.. and if you watch close, you can see the head of a troll down right, - with eyes, nose and an open mouth.
A fence in Mount Rainier National Park designed to keep people from going near a steep drop off.
Happy Fence Friday!
- Beautiful tall grass seemed afloat on it`s own reflection. I use a technique that narrows down my vision to small fragments instead of trying to see everything at once. Without this technique I would not have shot this one. You might try it when out shooting. You might find a world within our world when getting used to it ~;-)
- The sunset can be seen slightly in the reflection. I chose to not capture the sunlight on the top of the trees because I liked the toning in the shadowed area much better...it contained so beautiful contrasts.
- This pond was inhabited by frogs, so I had to watch my step carefully.

The forest floor now reveals the autumn colours and fallen seed pods.Side by side the seeds of the Horse Chestnut and the Sweet Chestnut. The conkers from the Horse Chestnut always remind me of playing conkers at school, many happy times. This tradition is no longer allowed in schools due to safety concerns. The sweet chestnuts, I always associate with the Christmas song roasting by an open fire.
A jaunt to a different forest, where Flickrite Guillem Femenias takes many of his incredible macro shots of mushrooms.. do look at his photostream and be amazed at the beauty of his photography. Alas I can only dream of achieving such things. But I try anyway :)
I went to Mogshade this morning hoping for some misty valley scenes but instead I got dense fog.
I couldn't get inspired out in the open so I headed into the woods which was a good decision as the conditions were perfect for that.
However I am not really that brilliant at woodland photography although the fog and some nice light helped. What looked amazing to the eye hasn't quite transpired to the monitor.
I always like a good sunstar though.
Have a lovely weekend x
