For this project I had to select a font and research its origin and cultural connection. Once done I had to create a flyer (8.5” x 11”) detailing the font and its history in a graphic style authentic to it.
2021, time for a new build. And this time, I wanted to share my early passion for mountain biking. It actually started in 1986, when I owned my first mountain bike. Since then I followed this sport relentlessly, and had the chance to whitness the 90's, sometimes referred to as "the golden age of mountain biking". During those times, every year saw a lot of innovations: some did not survive any real usage while others changed the sport forever. In the early 90's, aluminum frames where hype. One man was still believing in steel, and his World Cup riders helped him prove he was right, winning a lot of podium and overall titles. And the colors of these frames were worldwide known: Tom Ritchey handcrafted his P-22, P-21 and P-20 team models and the riders had the privilege to have the famous Blue/white/red color scheme. So in 2021, when a friend of mine found a Ritchey Ultra frame in Team Edition Color, an idea popped up: why not build a Neo Retro Bike? A build with components following today's standards, ready to get smashed at without compromise, but every component has to be a tribute to one of those former innovation days.

Project Type: Stadiums and Arenas
Description: Kauffman Center, with its 285,000 square feet of space, features 101 freestanding metal fabric partitions. GKD's role in this project was inside Helzberg Hall where its 1,600 seats surround the performance stage. The backdrop behind the much-celebrated organ needed to be aesthetically pleasing and acoustically sound while appearing as a continuous panel from floor to ceiling.

About the Exhibit
Roberta Harris: UP is a retrospective of art by Houston-area artist Roberta Harris from 1985 to the present. The exhibit will explore the role of culturally significant symbols and their meanings in art with a focus on the concept of "Hope" and its complements – joy, strategy, peace and imagination. Roberta Harris utilizes these thematic symbols to elicit conversation among viewers, as well as between the lone viewer and the art itself.

For me, shuffling around in a circle surrounded by onlookers wasn't as awkward-feeling as I'd imagined.
For a coworker of DH. I adapted the bib pattern from the free one. Both sides are flannel. And recieving blankets to hem - the stars are hemmed the others are not.
