And now for today's edition of naked hypocrisy.

So I did something I'm not going to recommend. It's been almost seven years since I've been to the top of the Mount Baldy sand dune (This is the last picture in my catalogue taken from atop the dune), and I've wanted to go for a while. But I can never successfully time the ranger-guided hikes to go up there, and you have to do those with, like, forty other people. But as it turned out, there wasn't anybody around on this particular day, so I went. I ducked past the signs and over the chain blocking the trail and made a fast run along the little path I haven't walked in years up onto the edge of the dune.

Now, I want to emphasize that this is not an act I encourage or condone in others, and I do feel remorse over having ignored the regulations of the National Park Service. I do think they've closed this dune for good reasons, both in the interest of safety and to preserve the fragile dune environment. A century of feet trampling all over the place is what started this dune moving in the first place, and I've already contributed to that on more than one occasion in the past. But here's what I figured. The National Park Service does guided hikes up here with forty-someodd people at a time, which means there's got to be semi-safe places for forty-someodd people to stand. I figured that if I walked up to the section I used to think of as the entry foyer, on the forest side of the little trees that once marked the edge of the windward dune face and just stayed on top where I saw footprints, I'd be okay in terms of safety. All I had to worry about was an unfortunately timed passage of a ranger down on the trail, but I figured I was mostly okay. The worst that would happen would be that they'd give me a ticket. And so that's what I did, and here's the picture to prove it in a court of law.

For over 50 years Pyestock was at the forefront of gas turbine development and was almost certainly the largest site of its kind in the world. V bomber, Harrier and Tornado engines were all rigorously tested on site, the power of the air house allowed Concorde's engines to be tested at 2,000 mph, every single gas turbine installed in the Royal Navy were checked here, captured Soviet engines were discretely examined - and all this on terra firma, without a single plane taking off.

Let me introduce you my new outfit made with reverie for Alicia. She want something around my Little Red Riding Hood... So I plan to make a new variation of this theme, with a lot of assorted machine embroideries by combining some designs.

This set include a dress, a corseted over-dress, removable puffed sleeves, a jacket, a petticoat and socks.

Here, you can see:

- The petticoat made of cotton muslin edged and adorned by airy french lace and red ribbon.

- The dress made of antique white Dimity cotton fabric. All edges were trimmed with small floral embroidery and the front buttonholes band is enhanced with lace and gold metal tiny beads.

- The apron made of antique lace lined with cotton muslin, also trimmed with tiny flowers on a scalloped spring green ribbon. A row of teal Miyuki beads highlights the top of the waistband.

- Removable puffed sleeves made of cotton batiste.

I also want to introduce you an other of my new dolls customized by me during the past months.

Her name is "My Alice".

I used a FBL Ambrosial Blythe with a Jenna scalp I bought especially to become Alice.

Imagine there’s no countries

It isn’t hard to do

Nothing to kill or die for

And no religion too

Imagine all the people

Living life in peace….

John Lennon wasn’t the only dreamer. We at Z Club NY focus of our classes on the most important values in Zumba®: bringing people together in love, dance, and peace. Look around the room at your next class – we are all different shapes, sizes, colors, religions; we come from different countries, we speak different languages – but we all come to dance. We come to share in the love, the music, the sweat, and the great energy.

In light of what happened in Paris this past week, and what has been happening around the world for quite some time, we would like to raise a flag – a Zumba® flag – by dancing for peace, by coming together and sending out positive vibes through the world. We live in a world where terrible acts happen every day against people like us – people who are just out having a good time, or strolling down the street, or taking a bus to work.

The difference starts with each and every one of us. Peace comes from within – from each and every one of us setting our differences aside and choosing love, choosing cooperation, and – in our case – choosing dance.

Come join Z Club NY’s all star group of instructors along with guest instructors from all over New York City for a 2 hour FREE ZUMBA® MASTER CLASS in solidarity with those who suffer, and in support of peace in the world.

Would it look "better" if all the chairs and tables were lined up or would it look like another wedding reception shot?

I was at Dyer waiting for a late running Q642 to get through town when I heard him call a "clear" at the Dyer diamonds, the crossing of the CN ex EJ&E mains. I started to get set up when a CN work train came rolling through at track speed, running right in front of the northbound CSX freight. Q642 went in the big hole and managed to stop in time as the yellow CN train kept rolling east. So, Q642's conductor had to walk the train to make sure the hazmat cars were all OK. Unfortunately, the train had Route 30 blocked for over half an hour at 600pm, not good. Back on the move, SD70MAC 4827 finally comes into the interlocking.

The unveiling (Groundbreaking) Ceremony for the E. Claire Raley Studios for the Performing Arts at Fremont School in midtown Sacramento. Complete with performances by local groups, speeches, and tours of the work in progress. Official opening is planned for January 2016.

---

The expansion of residential suburbs in the 1960’s and 1970’s left our central city with stately but underutilized school facilities. Fremont School is one example - a beautiful brick and terracotta building in the Spanish Revival style on a quiet Midtown street. It had a ‘second life’ as an adult education center, which was has since been shuttered.

After much discussion and negotiation, Fremont School now is slated as the new creative home for Sacramento’s Performing Arts community. The high ceilings and large classrooms have the potential to perfectly suit rehearsal and teaching needs for the Sacramento Ballet, Sacramento Opera and Sacramento Philharmonic Orchestra.

There are many technical challenges to adapting an early 20th century non-reinforced masonry building to the needs of 21st century performing arts. We are diving into these challenges with creative energy, confident that this new Studios for the Performing Arts will be a vibrant and creative magnet in the community.

For whatever reasons only known to Wilkinsons toy buyers the licensed HTI sourced range of 1/64 singles is out and in comes a collection of 12 castings by Suntoys. Change is usually a good thing as the old HTI stuff hadn't changed in a few years and so the choice had gone stale and these licensed Suntoys models are not often seen here in the U.K. One of those 12 models is this Porsche Cayenne Turbo finished in a very smart looking metallic dark grey colour and neatly detailed with painted lights and badges. Its quite a dainty little thing but feels robust enough in a cheapo kind of way and at least is something new to collect. Sold under the Wilko Roadsters name. Mint and boxed.

This was a very bittersweet photo shoot for me. It was the last one I did in Anchorage, Alaska before moving back to the Lower 48 in February 2013. It was also hard knowing this might be the last time I would shoot with Alanna. I think our photographer/model relationship was jinxed from the beginning. After our first shoot we decided we loved shooting with each other; however, for personal reasons she left Alaska almost overnight. About a year later she came back to AK, just was I was packing out. What a bummer!

This shoot was pretty much totally unplanned. Alanna came to the house for some shots with her newborn daughter. After shooting, the daughter took a nap so we had a few minutes to shoot. Alanna is such a beautiful person - very sweet and photogenic. I hope the photography gods smile on us in the future!

Pyongyang is the capital of the DPRK and the centre of politics, the economy and culture.

As the cradle of the Taedonggang Culture, it has over 5 000-year-long history since Tangun, founder king, established Ancient Korea and set Pyongyang as its capital.

In spring Moran Hill, a "garden of the capital," is full of flowers and the picturesque Taedong River flows through the city centre. So Pyongyang is called a city in a park. Such surroundings make Pyo according to north korean guides. Pyongyang the "World Best Beauty".

Major Attractions : Grand Monument on Mansu Hill, Tower of the Juche Idea, Arch of Triumph, Party Founding Memorial Tower, Mangyongdae Schoolchildren’s Palace, Grand People’s Study House, Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum and Pyongyang Metro.

The Alaska Ski for Women is an annual event, held on Super Bowl Sunday, at Kincaid Park in west Anchorage. The 2011 ski was held on 6 Feb 2011 on a bitterly cold day.

The Ski for Women is a big fundraising event with the proceeds going to agencies that specialize in dealing with abuse and violence against women and children.

The ski is part fun and part competition with a lot of cool costumes; there was an incredible turnout considering how cold and windy it was. I was there for a little over two hours and could barely feel my toes and fingers despite being prepared for the cold - but it was definitely worth it.

Good fun for good causes - Alaskan women do rock!

A woman participating on a cash-for-work scheme run by Handicap International near Petit-Goave, Haiti.

Cash-for-work schemes are being operated by a number of NGOs in Haiti, as means of providing limited amounts of paid work for vulnerable people, to help provide them with some income. There was high unemployment in Haiti even before the earthquake, a situation that has now been exacerbated. Cash-for-work schemes are mainly paying people for helping to demolish destroyed buildings and clear rubble, so that reconstruction can take place.

I am pleased to announce you the creation of a new project for Tina who wanted something around a tutu dress set... So I plan to make a real pancake tutu with a gradient in different tulle overlays, inspired by the romantic ballet, where the spirit of Giselle, dancing with her lover, comes to save him from the death.

This set include seven pieces...

- A blouse, fully lined, sewn in a cotton batiste dyed with bright pink color, edged with lace on the bottom sleeves and with pale pink rayon cord around de neckline. Embroidered roses adorn this piece witch closes in the back with beads and loops.

- A pancake tutu sewn with a gradient in different tulle overlays: gold at the top, on dotted cream, on pale pink, and ending below with mauve pink. I used the traditional technique, that is to say, with lots of layers fixed together and with a metal circle inside to maintain a certain rigidity.

- A corseted over-skirt sew in a lovely yellow-cream jacquard silk satin, fully embroidered and edged with lace and burgundy rayon cord. A fake lacing, a knotted rose on the front panel and a real lacing on the back...

- A cream pantyhose, hand painted with acrylic painting, decorated with tiny flowers and leaves rising from the ankle to the knee.

- A short cape, sewn with lace on satin with tiny embroidered roses, edged with fur and closed with a cordon ended with small pompoms. Because I couldn't make up my mind about the color, I I decide to make it reversible: pink or green depending on the mood of the day.

- Hair accessory: some millinery flowers... mounted on hair clips.

- A pair of ballerina shoes.

This set is worn by my "Nijinska" blythe doll customized by me.

I used a real factory Blythe that looks like Matryoshka Maiden and bought especially to become this ballet girl, tribute to Nijinski.

For All Saints Day, here's Oswald, sainted king of Northumbria. Died of general dismemberment at the hands of the Mercians, who showed none. His head and body parts were distributed far and wide and his bones became relics. Even the dirt upon which he stood when he was killed was thought to be either blessed or magic or both and was removed a pocketful at a time until the hole left behind was big enough to be the grave of two men. It is unknown if two men were found to fill it.
