I am pleased to announce you the creation of a new project for Tina who wanted something around a tutu dress set... So I plan to make a real pancake tutu with a gradient in different tulle overlays, inspired by the romantic ballet, where the spirit of Giselle, dancing with her lover, comes to save him from the death.
This set include seven pieces...
- A blouse, fully lined, sewn in a cotton batiste dyed with bright pink color, edged with lace on the bottom sleeves and with pale pink rayon cord around de neckline. Embroidered roses adorn this piece witch closes in the back with beads and loops.
- A pancake tutu sewn with a gradient in different tulle overlays: gold at the top, on dotted cream, on pale pink, and ending below with mauve pink. I used the traditional technique, that is to say, with lots of layers fixed together and with a metal circle inside to maintain a certain rigidity.
- A corseted over-skirt sew in a lovely yellow-cream jacquard silk satin, fully embroidered and edged with lace and burgundy rayon cord. A fake lacing, a knotted rose on the front panel and a real lacing on the back...
- A cream pantyhose, hand painted with acrylic painting, decorated with tiny flowers and leaves rising from the ankle to the knee.
- A short cape, sewn with lace on satin with tiny embroidered roses, edged with fur and closed with a cordon ended with small pompoms. Because I couldn't make up my mind about the color, I I decide to make it reversible: pink or green depending on the mood of the day.
- Hair accessory: some millinery flowers... mounted on hair clips.
- A pair of ballerina shoes.
This set is worn by my "Nijinska" blythe doll customized by me.
I used a real factory Blythe that looks like Matryoshka Maiden and bought especially to become this ballet girl, tribute to Nijinski.

· New full makeup made with artist Extra Soft Pastels "à l'écu" from Sennelier and sealed with several layers of MSC
· Sleepy eyes
· Gaze corrected
· New lashes
· Eyelids painted with artist Extra Soft Pastels "à l'écu" from Sennelier
· Four new pairs of eye chips hand painted by me using professional Golden iridescent fluid acrylics. Baby pink (right), Pale lavender (center), Royal blue (left), Olive green (center)

I was at Dyer waiting for a late running Q642 to get through town when I heard him call a "clear" at the Dyer diamonds, the crossing of the CN ex EJ&E mains. I started to get set up when a CN work train came rolling through at track speed, running right in front of the northbound CSX freight. Q642 went in the big hole and managed to stop in time as the yellow CN train kept rolling east. So, Q642's conductor had to walk the train to make sure the hazmat cars were all OK. Unfortunately, the train had Route 30 blocked for over half an hour at 600pm, not good. Back on the move, SD70MAC 4827 finally comes into the interlocking.

For Monthly Scavenger Hunt. I had quite a time trying to decide what to do for this shot. Thought about going to an arcade and shooting something, but wanted something simpler. Then I found this old controller and decided to shoot it and see what came to mind. This is what I came up with.

This vehicle is a 1974 AVS Shadow/Chevrolet DN5 CanAm Sports-Racing Spider with chassis number DN4-2A. It is the chassis driven by British racing star Jackie Oliver in which he won the 1974 CanAm championship title. Oliver's racing career began with front-drive mini saloon cars, progressed to a wooden-chassised Marcos GT and then a Jaguar E-Type. Through time, he went to single-seaters, then Formula 3 and International Formula 2. In 1968 he was World Champion Driver Graham Hill's team-mate in the Formula 1 Lotus program. He raced in Formula 1 for a number of teams, including BRM, McLaren and Shadow cars. In 1969, he won LeMans while driving a Gulf-JW Ford.
In 1969 he raced in the CanAm series in Peter Bryant's Autocoast Ti22. From 1972 through 1974 he drove for Don Nichols in his AVS Shadow CanAm cars. He also drove their F1 single-seater cars at the time as well.
The fuel shortage of the early 1970s had CanAM change their regulations considerably, limiting fuel to just 37 gallons per race. The gas tanks shrank in size, many had been over 80 gallons. As a result, the cars decreased in size as well. The DN4, in comparison to the DN2, was considerably smaller, now just 100-inches in length. The AVS team claimed their V8 Chevrolet engine produced 735 horsepower. It is believed that the real figure was closer to 800.

Two Rolls Royce engines end to end for Sheffield hills!
With chassis made by Dennis in Guildford, Surrey, body built by Alexanders in Falkirk, Scotland and fitted with a Rolls Royce engine to cope with Sheffield's hills, the new bus entered service with South Yorkshire PTE in May 1983, receiving fleet number 2281.
The original livery was South Yorkshire's Tan and Cream. The new bus was allocated to Sheffield's Herries Road garage.
She became Mainline 2281 in June 1993 and was subsequently re-painted into Mainline livery of red and yellow with silver and blue bands above the 'skirt'. The company was sold to its employees on November 18th 1994, becoming Mainline Group Ltd. Mainline joined the First Group in July 1998, becoming First Mainline and then on March 24th 2003, First South Yorkshire.
First Group had embarked on a national renumbering scheme and 2281 became 30430 on February 27th 2003, only to be withdrawn shortly afterwards.
The newly renumbered 30430 passed to Houston Ramm, the Heywood, Lancashire dealer in June 2003, destined for the Barnsley scrap yards - in line with First Group policy not to allow their buses to be sold on for further passenger carrying service.
City Church Sheffield had been looking for a suitable vehicle and First Group gave Houston Ramm permission to sell it to them on condition that it would not be used or sold on as a service bus. The bus was then delivered back to Sheffield in July 2003.
Since then much help has been given by First South Yorkshire at Rotherham and by other volunteers to bring the bus back to a roadworthy condition and to prepare it for its new role. During much of this time it has been housed at the Sheffield Bus Museum at Tinsley.
The aim is to equip the bus with a coffee-bar downstairs and a lounge area on the upper deck. It will then be used in and around Sheffield in connection with the many activities of the church.
And it was!! It was very useful and a great resource too!
Back before the big U.S. decline these were filled with elaborate fantasy displays of merchandise for sale!

Epitaph for Valentin von Münster, his first wife Magdalena von Seckendorff (+1555), his second wife Amalia von Berlichingen and the 17 children from both marriages.
Valentin's own church monument can be found in the Johanniskirche in nearby Schweinfurt.
Valentin von Münster zu Niederwerrn was a knight and "fürstlich-würzburgischer Rat". On his breastplate he wears the Jerusalem Cross and the badge of the Order of St. Catherine of Alexandria which he brought back from a pilgrimage to the Holy Land.
The epitaph is the work of Franconian artist Peter Dell the Younger, who made, just like his father before him, numerous church monuments in the area.

Let me introduce you my new outfit made with ingenuousness for Sophia. She desired an "Sailor" dress set.
Regarding the colors, I did a study around the tones of an old doll whose the atmosphere is a very soft sailor witch I love a lot.
So a base of ivory and blue-gray with a touch of tonic red.
This set consists of a dress, an overskirt, removable collar and stockings.
- The high waist overskirt typically nautical have two folds that open onto a striped fabric and bordered by dark green lines. A light silk ribbon bow, small brass buttons and a brass star adorn this skirt.
- The dress is cut in a lined fabric and trimmed with lace and ribbon at the bottom.
- For the stockings and the dress's breastplate, I painted myself red stripes on an ivory fabric to give an old craft touch.
- The removable sailor collar finished by a small red bow, edged with fine aqua silk ribbon
I also want to introduce you one of my new dolls customized by me during the past months.
Her name is "My Bloomy" because she's very inspired by Bloomy Bloomsbury, one of my favorite Blythe.
She is a FBL original Takara Blythe "Prima Dolly Tokyo", I bought her second hand to be customized for me.

LOS ANGELES - On June 6, 2019, firefighters and residents gathered in the streets of LA for live music, delicious meals prepared by over 25 different fire stations throughout the city, fire apparatus (with demonstrations), LAFD gift merchandise booths, raffle drawings, prizes, trophies, and exciting Firefighter Muster games where more than twenty sponsored teams competed for trophies and prizes in events including bucket brigade, firefighter suit-up, and an old fashioned hose pull contest. Funds are raised through sposorship, meal ticket sales, raffle items, and the sale of LAFD merchandise. All proceeds benefit the Los Angeles Firemen's Relief Association's Widows, Orphans & Disabled Firemen's Fund.

Let me introduce you my new outfit made with reverie for Alicia. She want something around my Little Red Riding Hood... So I plan to make a new variation of this theme, with a lot of assorted machine embroideries by combining some designs.
This set include a dress, a corseted over-dress, removable puffed sleeves, a jacket, a petticoat and socks.
Here, you can see:
- The corseted over-dress, fully lined, cut in a wonderful dark shot cotton "Moor" (weaving of burgundy and emerald green threads). These piece is edged by an assortment of embroidery, trims and lace. Tiny gold eyelets and a satin ribbon lacing make the back closure.
- The apron made of antique lace lined with cotton muslin, also trimmed with tiny flowers on a scalloped spring green ribbon. A row of teal Miyuki beads highlights the top of the waistband.
- The dress made of antique white Dimity cotton fabric. All edges were trimmed with small floral embroidery and the front buttonholes band is enhanced with lace and gold metal tiny beads.
- The petticoat made of cotton muslin edged and adorned by airy french lace and red ribbon.
- The assorted embroidery socks.
I take this opportunity to introduce you an other of my new dolls customized by me during the past months.
Her name is "My Alice".
I used a FBL Ambrosial Blythe with a Jenna scalp I bought especially to become Alice.
