The Iowa Northern switch crew coming down the CFU branch to pull three cars out of storage. A fairly rare occurance. I reckon maybe 5-7 times a year they make the trip down the mile or two stretch of track

This is my fifth entry for the Colossal Castle Contest XVI. I always enjoy building microscale castle scenes, so I certainly wasn’t going to pass up the Micro Medieval Mountain category, even if the prize wasn’t very desirable for me…
The micro ship design was inspired by Henjin Quilones.
The fortress of Calbridge is built right into the Fjall mountains and its mighty walls protect the harbor and village along the coast.

Upper East Side, Central Park - Jun 2008 - 085
These pictures were taken on two successive days when I had doctor appointments on the Upper East Side of NYC, and had the chance to walk along Fifth Avenue, and then through Central Park in order to return to my apartment on the Upper West Side, at Broadway & 96th
I had spotted this woman jogging in Central Park a little earlier -- how could you not notice someone in a bright pink top and pink hat? She had been running south, while I was walking north, and she went by too quickly for me to get a picture.
But about ten minutes later, as I was approaching Columbus Avenue and 96th Street, she jogged past me again ... she had to stop at Columbus Avenue, because of the traffic, so she was actually jogging in place when I took this picture...
Note: on Sep 26, 2012, I replaced the original version of this photo with a slightly edited one. All I did was some relatively minor adjusting of "hot spots" and "cold spots" -- but unfortunately, I was unable to remove all the monochromatic blackness in the woman's tights Unfortunately, the original photo was shot as a JPG image, before I learned about the benefits of shooting in RAW and making more subtle adjustments with my Aperture photo-editing program...

Beloved cyberpunk theme!
This moc displays the overtaking between hover cars, along the levels of the huge cyber city,
between endless bright neon signs, typical cyberpunk atmosphere! Cars are inspired by Blade Runner movie
(thank to Calin from which I was inspired for backside of his Wallace Hover Car Corp.) and the Fifth Element movie.
I added post-production to scene to emphasize and get more action of hover cars lanes.
Hope you like it!

Sadly, yet another cloudy shot of this locomotive. I really have had no luck with this one at all! This was the fifth attempt to grab a shot of this loco in the sun & yet again, it clouded up by the time it reached me. Typically, the only time I was certain to grab a sunny shot of it, Lorraine & I were at Houghton Hall International Horse Trials! Never mind. It's still lovely to have a Class 60 back in my local patch.

Twilight bathes the skies over Madison Square in New York City. Along Fifth Avenue sits a beautiful old street clock. Not only is it a great feature, but it's great fodder for the camera. Behind the old clock sits the iconic Flatiron Building. A great backdrop for this beautiful clock.
One of the rare photos of the fifth Beatle. Even though he is said to have written most of the songs, he always had to walk 10 steps behind the mop tops.

Piccadilly &The District line is the busiest of the sub-surface lines and the fifth-busiest line overall on the Underground, with over 208 million passenger journeys recorded in 2011/12.
The section here is between Gloucester Road and Earl's Court stations.
Gloucester Road is in Kensington, west London. The station entrance is located close to the junction of Gloucester Road and Cromwell Road. Close by are the Cromwell Hospital and Baden-Powell House.
Earl's Court station is in both fare zones 1 and 2. The station is located in the Earl's Court area of central London, with the eastern entrance on Earl's Court Road and the western entrance on Warwick Road (both part of A3220). It is a step-free tube station; Earls Court Road entrance provides lift access between street and platform.

As part of my ongoing movie and TV vehicles project, lately I've been looking at flying vehicles. Korben Dallas' flying taxi, from The Fifth Element, seemed like an obvious option.
on the fifth floor of the "teaching building" of "Taiyuan Institute of Technology", students head toward the stairs after class.
This is my custom Sith I made to celebrate Revenge of the Fifth. I'm really happy with how he came out, especially the head (it's superman CMF head). For those wondering about his lightsaber it is not a double sided saber it is a lightsaber pike (it's the same sort of weapon shadow royal guards use).
