A tribute to George Martin. May you rest in peace with a little "Twist and Shout" by your side. Thank you for finding them, thank you for nurturing them, thank you for developing them and more importantly...thank you for sharing them.

The fifth major waterfall I captured on our hike along the Schwarzwasserbach. At least, it was impressive when we were there - after some days with a lot of rain - but there was a notice saying that during dry periods the waterfall is just a trickle!
Shortly after this fall we reached the road, where we went down to 'Fuchsfarm' above Hirschegg to catch the bus back 'home' to Riezlern.

That's their internet out....again. This has been hit countless times and probably will be repaired no more.

One fifth of me was broken, and the rest was about to collapse. As small petals falling lightly and being carried by the winds.

This year, the FFF+ monthly challenge of FOTF has changed from 'five images on the fifth' to 'freestyle on the fifth', where each month a member of the group chooses a theme and the image can be a single image, a collage or anything you like as long as it relates to the theme and is uploaded on the fifth of each month.
This month the theme of 'sunsets' was chosen by Margaret. www.flickr.com/photos/pocket_rocket1
A three exposure, in camera, view of the sunset last night. There was a lot of cloud about.
"There is a fifth dimension, beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space, and timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition." - Rod Sterling

As the fifth resident tiercel we have observed on the Parkway since 2009, and F2's apparent new mate, we're going to call him T5.
Even when I am running errands and pressed for time when I go down to Manhatten I try to grab a shot here and there when possible.
The fifth planet was very strange. It was the smallest of all. There was just enough room on it for a street lamp and a lamplighter. The little prince was not able to reach any explanation of the use of a street lamp and a lamplighter, somewhere in the heavens, on a planet which had no people, and not one house. But he said to himself, nevertheless:
"It may well be that this man is absurd. But he is not so absurd as the king, the conceited man, the businessman, and the tippler. For at least his work has some meaning. When he lights his street lamp, it is as if he brought one more star to life, or one flower. When he puts out his lamp, he sends the flower, or the star, to sleep. That is a beautiful occupation. And since it is beautiful, it is truly useful."
What the little prince did not dare confess was that he was sorry most of all to leave this planet, because it was blest every day with 1440 sunsets!

Fifth pocket on a pair of five pocket blue genes. The small fifth pocket was originally intended for a pocket watch but almost no one carries a pocket watch these days and few even wear a traditional wristwatch. This small bit of obsolescence is for the Crazy Tuesday Group, challenge, Outdated.
Happy Crazy Tuesday!
