A lot of folks have heard of the
Marfa, Texas lights. (Yes I have
seen them myself.) Well these
are Santa Fe, New Mexico lights.
:-)
I last visited Santa Fe in 2002 and the memory of the place as stayed with me, although it is the capital of New Mexico it has such a small town charm.
This shot is not of any of the landmark buildings just a little side street near the State Capital building I like the mixture of the colours, the metal work and the adobe walls.
If I were able to live in the USA there would be three cities I would have to choose between Denver, New Orleans and Santa Fe. One advantage that Santa Fe has is that’s its in the high desert and has on average 340 days of sun a year I could live with that.

The Santa Fe Station in downtown San Diego has some great architecture and a fountain out front that catches some great sunset light. This can be a busy place at times, with stops for Amtrak, the Coaster, the Trolley and a freight line that comes through a few times a day.

Combined with the tannery there is, of course, also a shop for purchasing the various products obtained from leather processing.

A passeggio nella Medina - Museo Nejjarine.
L'edifico che ospita il Museo dell'artigianato ligneo si trova in un funduq del XVIII secolo, ovvero una locanda dove i mercanti di passaggio potevano trovare ristoro e alloggiare durante i loro viaggi a Fès.
Al piano superiore si trovavano le stanze dove i mercanti pernottavano, mentre il pianterreno era il luogo dove concludevano i loro affari.
Durante il Protettorato Francese, l'edificio fu trasformato in un commissariato atto a soffocare qualsiasi insorgenza di carattere nazionalista.
Classificato come monumento storico nel 1916, l'edificio fu poi dichiarato Patrimonio dell'Umanità dall'Unesco e fu oggetto di un forte intervento di ristrutturazione nel contesto del programma di conservazione della medina.
Walking in the Medina - Nejjarine Museum.
The building that houses the Museum of Wooden Crafts is located in an 18th century funduq, or an inn where passing merchants could find refreshment and stay during their trips to Fes.
On the upper floor there were the rooms where the merchants stayed overnight, while the ground floor was the place where they concluded their business.
During the French Protectorate, the building was transformed into a police station designed to suffocate any nationalist insurgency.
Classified as a historical monument in 1916, the building was later declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and was the subject of a major renovation as part of the medina conservation program.

north of High Springs, Florida
I had planned to shoot a nearby location on this morning, but found a gate locked that I expected to be open. I wasn't too familiar with this section of Florida, but remembered seeing this area the previous afternoon, so I thought I'd give it a try. As the sun began to rise, I quickly scrambled to find a good vantage point and was able to come up with this shot.

Convento do Penha - Vitória - ES - Brasil
fundado em 1558 pelo Frei Pedro Palácios. Reza a lenda, que por três vezes, o painel de Nossa Senhora apareceu no alto do Morro, sinalizando ao Frei onde deveria ser construÃda a sua Capela.
O Convento fica a 154m de altitude e está cercado pela Mata Atlântica. Seu interior preserva séculos de história. Quadros do pintor paulista Benedito Calixto retratam as diversas fases e as agressões estrangeiras sofridas pelo Convento.

Fez or Fes is a city in northern inland Morocco and the capital of the Fès-Meknès administrative region. It is the third largest city in Morocco, with a population of 1.15 million according to the 2014 census and is located to the north west of the Atlas Mountains.
