..come sospettavo, lo spazio alla fantasia, quando si usa il ferro fluido, è stai limitato.
Il Ferrofluid e un preparato a base di ferro fluido. Come tale, conserva le sue proprietà "calamitose" se sottoposto ad un campo magnetico. Ci pensavo da tempo ma ho sempre tralasciato per via della ovvietà dei risultati. Non c'è molto margine alla inventiva e fantasia (un po' come per gli omini in miniatura). Non so quindi quanto potrò discostarmi dagli innumerevoli lavori già fatti con questo prodotto. L'unico davvero fuori delle righe e convincente è quello di Fabian Oefner

Santa Fe FP45 #102 in "Super Fleet" paint heads up the hot Eastbound 891 train at Blue Cut in Cajon Pass in October of 1989. Two of the trailing engines are still painted up in the failed SPSF merger scheme.
An eastbound Santa Fe manifest, led by a GP30 and a half-dozen GP35’s, passes two Southern Pacific SD9’s on a work train at Cliff. Caliente is visible over the cab of the lead unit. All of the GP30’s and GP35’s running on the Santa Fe at that time took me back to my days watching the Reading Company a decade earlier. Those two models were the backbone of the Reading’s second-generation road power. I checked an old calendar, and this was taken on a Thursday.
A Médina is a walled section of a city, usually defining the old city. In Fes there are twisting, turning narrow streets of cobblestones and clay. Watch out for donkeys loaded high with goods on their backs. Also watch out for the mopeds, motorcycles, bicycles and handcarts that comes charging towards you demanding right of way: not a place for the intrepid.
In a Médina you can purchase anything in leather, clothing, jewelry and handicrafts, not to forget the sweets with 100s of bees on them. Haggling is the name of the game, just remember to keep a firm hand on your phone and wallet.

A pair of new Santa Fe C40-8's are the trailing power on PIEL. The power is backing in to get its train at the West end of Conway Yard in Freedom, PA on August 16, 1992.
Santa Fe SD45-2 5864 led an eastbound stack train underneath the classic ATSF signal bridge at Niota in 1997.
Aided by a Superfleet C40-8W, the Chicago-bound hotshot would blast across the Chillicothe Subdivision in classic fashion.
ONCF EMD GT26CW-2 is hauling the early passanger connection between Taza and Fes. The train is just about to enter the tunnel under the city of Fes shortly before sunrise.

In this winter scene from February 16th, 1997 a Wisconsin Central EMD SD45 and F45 of Santa Fe heritage are resting near the old C&NW roundhouse at North yard in Green Bay.
Because the startup of the WC is generally associated with cascade green ex-Burlington Northern units as the power for many trains, it’s easy to assume that’s where most of their SD45s had come from.
But over the years the WC accumulated quite a few more in total numbers from the Santa Fe, most of which were in better condition due to various upgrades they had gone through while still on the ATSF roster.
