Today I’m grateful for our oldest son, his two boys and his two goldens. We will FaceTime with them tomorrow when we are down to Dave’s dad and everybody gets to see everybody and talk. Technology amazes me now.

Swan's nest on the pond in the forest. There are young swans in the nest and their parents nearby (on the previous photo you can better see the young ones) :)

On Lake Wilcox, Richmond Hill. As York Region went from complete lock down to Red alert, families are going for some outdoor fun including playing on thin ice against posted warning. Explored, Mar 20, 2021.
We watched this black phoebe for a while as it flitted about and then returned to its nest. Feeding chicks maybe? Preparing to have chicks? Not sure.

Happy Teddy Bear Tuesday, Everybody!!
Now she's on a very aggressive treatment plan and they are staying with her to keep her relaxed. they have a hotel room down the street. We're hoping she pulls through this. She's getting plenty of love and lots of antibiotics and fluids.
This is my grandfather's eldest sister with her husband and child.
Taken in about 1915. My grandfather took this with him into battle on the Western Front and the bullet hole is from where he was shot in the chest.
A small family of Egrets nest. Mother feeds her chicks in the nest. I was in Hunting Island State Park in South Carolina yesterday. This island is a wonderland for wildlife. This area is closed to the public and you can not go into or get close to the actual feeding area. I was standing on a high sand dune next to a roadway to get a vantage point to capture this image.
